I have been reading this book called, " Wings of Fire: The Hive Queen" because my dad bought it for me a couple of days ago and I am really enjoying it. I am actually quite surprised but proud of myself for being able to read the whole series, even if it wasn't in order. Seems pretty accomplishing that the author was able to create another two books by adding a totally different continent filled with other dragons, and then somehow being able to add that into the storyline, so that it creates curiosity and excitement for the reader.

However, something that really bothers me is about how me as the reader doesn't know what happened to the heroes of the original series, or when the first prophecy was filled. Of course one of those heroes is part of this new prophecy but the others seem to have just been forgotten, well not forgotten, just never mentioned to me. I'd like to know how those "dragons" are doing and hopefully they will help defeat the new Hive Queen that the other continent has to deal with.

I'm pretty sure that I remember all of the villains that occurred in this whole series. So it starts with the first continent (or the one where our original heroes lived in) where all of the tribes had to fight each other because there was a battle for resources and glory. Some of the different dragon tribes teamed up with each other so that they together could work to defeat other dragons. I thought that this was very smart, and every one of these tribes a queen (no kings for some reason that I don't remember).

It's up to the original heroes or dragons (one from each tribe), to find a way to end these wars but that starts with making allies and stealing a weapon powerful enough to defeat the queen of the Sky-wing tribe (she's the main evil one). Afterwards, the next evil is of a dragon that killed thousands of years ago. Apparently, back then there were dragons that could use animus magic or just magic in generally. This magic gave them the abilities to make themselves or anyone they wanted stronger with a simple spell, or giving attributes to different dragons and objects.

There is a dragon named, "Deathstalker" that was basically the evilest dragon around and used his animus magic powers to destroy his foes and make himself 10 times stronger. The other dragons of his tribe hated him for it and together they defeated him using just raw physical power. Finally, it seemed as though he was kept in a living condition but trapped in a mountain with no escape. That is, until a dragon from the same tribe, only a couple thousand years later, had the same power as him (not animus magic but to be able to read minds). Using this he was able to communicate with the little dragon (whose name was Moonwatcher) and she accidentally let him free not knowing the horrors that he would cause upon the world.
