Once the bell rang I walked out of my homeroom to Science and waited for the rest of my classmates. During Science my teacher was chill and didn't have to yell at anyone today. Instead he made a few jokes and the class laughed. However that doesn't mean that he didn't do the lesson. We go through 3 pages of the textbook and halfway completed the outline before the period ended. All in all, it was pretty good. After Science my teacher took the class to the gym where we had P.E since it was Thursday. Everyone did the regular warmup without any inconvience and the gym teacher didn't have to restart it. The game we played was basically Shooter Basketball (I'm really bad at) where everyone was seperated into two teams. Whichever team got the most points in won.

When P.E ended I wasn't sweating like usually because I didn't try but it still was kind of fun seeing people make it or not. It was time for recess and I quietly walked with my class to the courtyard where we could play. Today was basically Soccer and talking to a few friends who aren't in 7A (my class). Then it was Lunch and I was one of the first people to get in line in order to enter the cafeteria. Whenever recess ends there is always an issue with people not getting in line or blocking the way for the younger grades to get outside since they have their lunch before is. Today was "blocking the way for younger grades", the lunch administrator had to yell for all the kids to move to the right and that took an awfully long time.

For the rest of the day I did a few things. One was, going in the computer during Technology to finish my animal project. Once my teacher confirmed it I played a game called "Cartoon Strike" with a few other kids and it was pretty fun. I wonder how they found such a good game that you didn't have to download, up to 10 people can play in a lobby, and completely free! However, I'm just happy they found out because its like a worse version of call of duty that you can play on the computer. Besides that, another highlight of my day was talking about Kim Jong Un. Okay, it really isn't a highlight, but my teacher told us that we had to write about how Kim Jong Un replied to Donald Trump's rude remarks.

Me, reading about the Google News almost everyday and reading about this stuff, I felt like it was a good way for me to express what I have bene writing on actual paper. So I wrote that Kim Jong Un had responded to Donald Trump in a full text letter and called him a "Deranged Dotard". Donald Trump threatans North Korea saying the U.S.A will completely destroy them. When my teacher said the definition out loud, "An old person who has been weak or senile" everyone in my class was yelling how Kim Jong Un roasted Donald. Eventually my teacher was able to calm down the class and continue the lesson. However I really doubt that any of them know about how Donald Trump called Kim "Short and Fat" in one of his tweets. Anyway, that is basically the day.

Google News, remember the time I talked about the missing submarine that was never to be found. Well apparently, the government has quit searching for them ever since they were reported that someone heard an explosion near the area of the submarine's last known location. That means that the government suspects the "explosion" or noise was the sound of the submarine imploding. The families are accusing the government of false information about the submarine but I feel they just haven't fully accepted that the person they love will never be seen again. I feel bad for them but they probably have their own stuff to do. That is all for today!

11/29/2017

As seconds went by I was wondering when first period was going to start. While waiting I was eating breakfast that the school provided in the morning. It was the same, Cheerios, apple, crackers, orange juice, and a carton of milk. At 8:55 A.M my teacher announced that all kids walk downstairs to Social Studies. I was one of the first period seemingly because I was just waiting for him to say that. During Social Studies we talked about a mix of different stuff. Even though, my teacher said that he wanted to start with J.F Kennedy we ended the class talking about the Doctrine of Discovery and what Trump calls, "Lets Make America Great Again". My teacher asked us all, "How far back is when America was apparently, great..".

I wondered the same thing but wasn't able to ask him anything because it was time for Community Circle. All the 7th grade classes lined up along the walls until our principal gave us permission to go inside the room. Then everyone sat down and waited for her (principal) to start talking. For today's community circle two things were going to happen. One, the school has a dance group that were specifically chosen to perform in front of the whole grade. They have been practicing for a pretty long time considering how they give up their recess to get ready for their performance. Another reason I'm excited about this is because one of my friends is part of the group and he has been working pretty hard as well.

Lets just say, the dance was amazing! I really enjoyed it because of the way they implemented all of those modern dances that have become extremely popular. However, the people who were in the performance were complaining a lot. One of the girls said that a boy pushed her really hard by mistake and another complained he thought he was too slow compared to everyone else. I don't know what they were talking about because it was amazing but then again, I wasn't part of the people actually in the play. The second thing that took place in the community circle was about tobacco. A woman who I forgot the name of, came into the room and had a ppowerpoint explaining why tobacco is bad for you.

She explained the new types of ways that companies are selling cigarattes and how they want younger people to get addicted so they have higher sales. Almost 480,000 people die everyday from smoking because of lung cancer. The top three ways people have been dying in the United States is from 1.Heart Attacks, 2.Lung Cancer, 3.Something else. I can't remember but for some reason, when I type in "Top Three ways people have been dying" its says stuff like heart disease and stroke which isn't what the woman says. I'm going to say that woman needs to get her facts straight because the internat almost always has the right answer when you need information about something.

Google News! One of the newest and most popular games of the year, Fortnite, has added 9 new weapons to its game. Before, it only had stuff like pistols and regular guns but now it has hammers and energy rifles! That makes me even more excited, especially with a new sniper. Now, I don't want to go to indepth with this because I know my dad likes actual news. So on the news it talks about how North Korea says that they aren't going to talk to the United States about their nuclear weapon system until after its complete which sounds like a pretty mean thing to do. Many people are concerned that when North Korea is "Done" they will have a very strong and scary nuclear weapon power. Anyway, see you later.

11/28/2017

School ended today and I'm not feeling like writing too much about it. However, that doesn't mean I'll entirely skip it, so here is a recap of today's school day. My first period was actually not Social Studies (usually have), but instead an assembly. Apparently, an author who came to the school wanted to talk to us kids about his career and some interesting facts about acting. You see, he was also an actor long before making books and performed in many movies and plays. If only I could remember his name, he seemed old mostly because of the way he walked and the fact that he had grey hair. The book he wrote was called "A World Without Color". Oh, now I know his name (had to type it).

His name is "John Amos" and as I scrolled through the "images" on Google I saw a lot of them. Apparently, he was a football player and played in a lot of different teams. Then when that career ended he auditioned to be a character in a CBS show called "Good Times". That must've been a great feat for him, being able to star in a show and act for it. He must've had a great time performing because every picture I see of him is when he's smiling. However, he couldn't have always smiled because there was a link that said John Amos was fired from the show because he didn't agree with the way his character was supposed to be in that specific episode.

I'm sorry for saying that this was going to be a recap but then type a whole two paragraphs about a guy who was talking in my school, in the first period! When the assembly was finished and everyone said goodbye to him, my next period was P.E. I assumed that we would stay in the gym for P.E but our teacher took us outside to the field. It was basically a "Do whatever you want" period where our teacher would grab some balls and then let us do whatever we want. She limited the places we could go to from the football field and the basketball court. Since I didn't like basketball I played tag with some of my friends. Then before time was up my friend invited me to play a game of volleyball with a few other kids.

The rest of the day was just classes, after classes, after classes. I wanted the day to end as fast as possible so that I could get home and start my homework. On Google News, I read about 2 stories. One story talked about my favorite game, Destiny 2. Okay, I don't really have Destiny 2, only Destiny 1, but I hope to get it for Christmas so that I can play it. It seems really fun and I really want it, however, I don't want to ask yet because it is not Christmas and I want my parents to not have to worry about me. Besides that, it may just annoy them and make them not get it at all. Anyway, Bungie (creators of the game) was going to live stream (youtube) about the new DLC they would add and I really wanted to see it but I just read that they canceled it so that they could instead talk about more important things.

Now I know what you may be thinking. "What could be more important than adding something new to the game?". Well, "Destiny 2" has been losing its player base my a lot over the past few days ever since Bungie had been exposed from rigging the XP (experience points) system in the game. Besides that players think that Destiny 2 doesn't have nearly as much content as Destiny 1 or at all in general. The game may already be dead but I still want it because it's the second version to one of my favorite games. The second story is about North Korea (totally different topic) and how Kim Jong Un has launched a ballistic missile that appears to have been able to reach Washington D.C. I think that is pretty crazy that North Korea can actually fire missiles that far away but a man by the name of Marcus (specializes in missles)  says that it won't be a threat so I'm not as worried.

11/26/2017

I feel like Thanksgiving should be longer for my school because last year they gave us a full week and other schools still have that, except for mine (Beloved Community Charter School). Unfortunately, I can't really do that because I'm not "School President" or the principal. That is why I am going to talk about another boring day in Beloved Community Charter School with your host, "Rinchen Sangpo". As I walked inside my classroom and girl came up to me and pulled me towards one of my friends. Then after a few seconds I realized why she did that.... My friend's eyebrows were almost completely burned off! She just wanted to show me and I'm happy she did! I started laughing but then stopped because he was my friend and I didn't want to be mean.

Apparently, the story behind his almost "invisible" eyebrows is that a his mother "accidently" put a really hot brownie on his head and it burned off part of the eyebrows. Now the parts that were burned look like little hairs just sticking out. I felt kind of bad for him but at the same time started laughing again because even he thought it was funny. After the whole eyebrow situation the next thing I did was grab breakfast from the bin on the back table and head over to my seat. I then immediately took off my sweater and put it inside my book pack. When it was time to go to Social Studies I walked outside the door and downstairs to the room. Once everyone was lined up the teacher told us to go read our packets for the whole period since he had a sore throat.

The same thing happened with our Science teacher. He had a sore throat and couldn't yell or talk as much as he would like to but that didn't stop him from giving us a worksheet to complete before class ended. For Recess I didn't go outside because my teacher said he would take any kids who wanted to go to the book mobile and I was one of those kids. I asked him if I coud get two books instead of the usual one and since not a lot of kids came he let me. Both books I got were the ones with a lot of pictures, a manga and a comic book. The manga is part of the "Death Note" series that I was talking about in a previous post and the comic book is called, "The Ultimates 3". I just looked at the cover and thought it looked cool. Besides, I'm only getting it so I can read it for enjoyment.

During Lunch I had ate a panini. Now when I searched up "panini" on Google it shows such good looking sandwiches but the one I ate was just burnt bread with grilled cheese. The next three periods I had were Spanish, Technology, and ELA. At Spanish my teacher gave each kid a partner that they ahd to work with and write a conversation with 10 lines in all. That was basically all we did in Spanish and the partners have to present on Friday. For Technology the assignment was to create a photo album in which you pick one album and write stuff about them. I was on my 7th slide when the teacher told everyone to sign out of their computers. Finally, all my class did for ELA was take a big test for the whole period.
That is all for today, now for some Google News. A man by the name of Priyank Sharma went to the hospital to take out a stomach bug but was found with some pretty weird stuff. Metals! He had 200 coins in his stomach along with 100 glass pieces and nails. Apparently they thought that he had a stomach bug in his body that was giving him food poison. The story says that the Indian man had been eating these metals for the past year but had never told anyone and when he said he had food poisoning the docters were astonished. They say that sometimes, people with certain conditions will eat abnormal stuff and can't do anything about it. Anyway, that is it for today!

11/25/2017

I don't know what to talk about today, you see I would like to mention my book but unfortunately, I already did that yesterday. I mean I guess its okay to do that. Okay, I've decided to explain or summarize what I've read today since he is coming home soon anyway. The book that I'm reading is obviously called "Out of the Easy" and really enjoy the book in general. It is really interesting and for once actually makes me interested in a nonfiction. However, the section that I'm reading right now is kind of like an aftermath of events and there is only one key event that I really like. But let's start from the top and work our way down. When I say top to down I mean from the very beginning of where I left off.

Okay, so I started off at page 130 or chapter 22. Josie explains how she remembers Hearne (man I talked about yesterday) wishing her good luck on whatever college she goes to and a happy new year. Then she walks out of her apartment and heads to her destination when suddenly a man by the name of "Jesse" comes jogging up to her. He sees that Josie is cold and wraps his coat around her. Jesse asks if Josie wants to go to a soda shop and talk a bit while she gets warmer and Josie thinks about it. However, before she can say anything he pulls her into the shop and they sit down while drinking two bottles of sodas. After a few minutes of talking two women come walking towards Jesse and start flirting. Fortunately, it doesn't go well and Josie helps Jesse get rid of them by making jokes.

Later on, Josie says goodbye to Jesse and leaves the store so she can continue reaching her destination. Apparently, the "destination" is actually a bridge and she is tempted to throw the expensive watch that she knew was worn by Hearne himself. But before the watch falls off her hand and into the water she starts crying and walks back to her house. While walking back to her apartment she stops by her job (bookshop) and talks to her best friend (Patrick). Josie explains to Patrick about the bridge and past events from previous chapters. When she is finished a man comes into the store and asks Josie about her wanting to find a college. Unfortunately, he doesn't help her but just asks whether or not the information he heard was true.

The next day Josie walks into Willie's (practically her mother now since her real one left for California) place and gives her a cup of coffee. Since Willie's "place" is actually a building where men can have sex for a certain price she see's naked women everywhere, all trying to get ready for the next group of men. When she eventually hands the cup of coffee to Willie she gives Josie a green box that Josie can tell there is something expensive inside (important event. Opening it, Josie sees an expensive gold watch with the letters "Josie" encrusted on it. She thanks Willie for the watch and leaves before Willie gets mad. You see, it was Josie's birthday and she didn't expect a gift because she thought no one would give her none.

The reason I think that this is an important event in the story is that she is now 18 years old. Because of that, Josie can find Jobs with higher pay (good) but is not legible to go to jail (bad). Anyway, before I end this post I feel that I need to talk about some Google News or else my father may get mad. Do you remember when I talked about the man who wanted to prove that the Earth was flat? Well I sure do! Apparently his plight or launching day was delayed because of the government and how they said he needed to have permission and a private area where no one would get hurt. I believe that is the right thing to do and wonder how this guy will react when he realizes that the Earth is round. Anyway thats it for today!

11/24/2017

Since its still in the morning and I haven't done anything except eating breakfast I am going to talk about the book i've been reading for the past 3 days. When my father first handed it to me I was astonished by how thick the book was (pages it had). Before I could give it back my dad was already helping my sister with her book. Eventually I decided to just get it over with. The title is called "Out of the Easy", which I don't get really get since the book doesn't relate anything to that. However, maybe its supposed to come later in the book and I just have to read it. Anyway, the back of the book has recommendations from the New York Times and Washington Post. I'm assuming that means the book must be pretty good.

One comment from the Washington Post says, " Few books are beautifully written, fewer still are important; this novel is both". I can't quote the other recommendation because there is a bar code blocking it, so sorry. However, there is just something that I can't understand. The newspaper articles make the quotes so authentic (not fake) but how can they do that for every book? I mean, there must be other books just as good or better than this one yet they still give such quotes that make the book seem so good. I know for a fact that this book isn't the best because I've read one that had 4 recommendations but that doesn't mean its trash. Its just means that people haven't taken the time to read it or its not their style.

That's the reason James Patterson books are almost always "New York Times Bestseller". He makes his books funny and full of adventure, also most of the time the main character is a teenager so other kids can relate. I feel like I'm going a bit off topic because the author of "Out of the Easy" isn't "James Patterson, but "Ruta Sepetys". Apparently she has made only 3 books and two of them are really popular (I think). The book that I'm reading right now isn't popular but her other two best sellers titles are "Between Fifty Shades of Grey" and "Salt to the Sea". I would say that ranking the popularity between these three it would be "Out of the Easy", "Between Fifty Shades of Grey", and "Salt to the Sea".

Now I want to give you a summary of what I've read so far and that is roughly around 130 pages. A 17 year old girl by the name of "Josie" is the daughter of a prostitute. She lives in the "Quarter" of New Orleans and works as a helper and assistant to a woman by the name of "Willie" how runs a place were men pay for sex. Josie helps run a book store and doesn't wish to associate with prostitution, fortunately Willie and the other woman don't mind if she doesn't as long as she helps from time to time. While working in the store she meets a man who decides to buy two books. A few days later, the man is killed in a club. Police come to her house to ask her questions about the man.

Later on a woman by the name of "Charlette" comes into the store and asks to buy a book for her father. Before Charlette leaves ehe tells Josie of a college called "Smith" that Josie wishes to go to one day. However, will this police investigation ruin her chances? Thats what I've read so far but now I'll read about Google News. The one story that I am particularly interested in is about a cloned sheep named "Dolly". Dolly is a cloned sheep that was created in 1996 with the media all over it. People were creating stories about how we could clone humans and other livestock. However, 6 years later Dolly died and many people had reasons why. One reason was that Dolly was created from a 6 year old sheep so its age was combined with Dolly. Another reason was by scientists stating that Dolly had lung disease, but which one is it?

11/23/2017

Yesterday was Thanksgiving and I really enjoyed it! When I woke up I heard my sister talking to my dad and headed over to the two of them. Then we were all just joking and having fun for about 20 minutes. At 8:15 A.M my dad told me that I wouldn't have to do any homework because it was a holiday. This made me really happy and ran downstairs with so much excess energy. I immediately ran to the suitcase in the living room to get my games but it was locked. I was going to ask my dad but didn't want to disturb him or make him angry since he was making breakfast. I guess I should tell you what he made, eggs and rice. I was going to "fried" rice but knew that it was white and not yellow.

After finishing the breakfast my dad took the games out of the suitcase and let me play . Once I played for a decent amount of time my dad came downstairs from his bed and told me that we were going outside. I was pretty upset about this but after a while I got over it. When everyone was dressed up and ready my dad took my sister and I inside the car and we started driving. Since he didn't tell me where we were going my brain was thinking of places he was most likely to drive to. Another 5 minutes went by in the car and I was thinking that we were going to Jersey Shore. However he made a sharp turn and that was when I realized our destination, "Newport Mall".

During this time I was still mad about the game situation so I didn't ask any questions bu before I entered the entrance to the mall there was a huge line of people outside of JCPenny. Immediately I thought, "BLACK FRIDAY". That was also the reason my dad took us to the mall. First, we walked upstairs to the food section. A lot of the stores were closed and I think this is because it was Thanksgiving so the owners were giving them a break from work. The only place that my sister and I actually liked was "Subway". Usually we would go to "Panda" because of the chicken and noodles (it was closed). My sister ordered the regular, Italian bread, tuna, swiss cheese, lettuce, and ketchup. I got the same thing so I wondered why we didn't just order one large one.

The next thing that we did was go check Sears and JCPenny (other entrance). When that was all done all of us walked back to parking lot. While walking the line grew so much longer! It was like 200 people before, now its like 600! I'm literally not even lying. Anyway, as I got to the car my dad walked right past it and then I realized that he was going to ShopRite. He told me that he wanted to get a Turkey for us to eat at home. Unfortunately, they had none left because they ran out. Then my dad decided to get some chips but saw the line. It was almost half the length of the JCPenny! I wasn't that surprised because they did say the store was going to close soon. Thankfully, my sister walked over to us and held a bag of Donuts that one of the lady's at the store gave to her.

That was as much as I can tell because I want to talk about Google News. This one story's title was "The Future Looks Bright: Light Pollution Grows on a Global Scale". This seemed like a pretty funny pun and it took a while before I understood it. Anyway, the story covers how light pollution has increased and many countries. Especially, in Germany and Italy. Austraila's lit area has lessened due to many wildfires which I have covered in previous posts. A scientist had said that the more light that brights up the sky also affects your sleep. That means that if we don't act soon, there won't be any such thing as day and night. Just day, and day only. I know the government can do stuff like turn off lights on the streets and that could dramatically decrease the light pollution but its always good to be careful.

11/22/2017

At 6:00 A.M I woke up knowing that today was a half day! And besides that, I have a 4 day Thanksgiving break afterward! Even though I knew all of this and felt pumped at the start, by the time I got downstairs I was already tired again. This is because, usually I sleep for another 10 to 20 minutes before waking up again and now that I'm downstairs I don't feel like going back to my bed. After dressing up and eating breakfast, I continued reading a manga that my friend gave me called "Death Note". I've watched a few episodes of the anime but never finished it or read the actual book that its based from. At 7:10 A.M I took my sister to the bus stop and waited until it came. Unfortunately for me, it was raining so I got my clothes a bit wet.

That my already seem pretty bad but when I left the house to go to my bus stop it was pouring. Every step I took to my stop felt bad. Especially when I was walking through my backyard. The ground was so wet and eventually turned into multiple muddy puddles. At school I ate breakfast and waited until it was time to start first period. First period was Social Studies (again) so I remembered to bring my textbook because whenever I don't my teacher marks down "unprepared" for class. Today we were learning about John.F. Kennedy's assasination and why he was assasinated. When I told my father this he said I wasn't paying attention in class but I just explained to him what I learned.

When Social Studies was over, my class walked back to homeroom so that we could start ELA. We were supposed to be doing Community Circle which means going to the cafeteria but for some reason they canceled it. ELA was pretty boring, all we did was write a few questions down and then do some 3 sentence challenge. Basically, my teacher writes a random prompt, something like "Describe a blank". Today the 3 second challenge was "Describe a Church/Mosque". This is exactly what I put, "A church is a smaller and uncreative version of a monestery. It's design is plain boring and unadequate. I don't know how a mosque looks like but I assume it's as poorly designed as a church".

I'm going to skim past the rest of the periods as fast as I can until dismissal. For Lunch I had a cold cheeseburger with a carton of milk. Then my next class was Health and I walked with my class to the Technology lab where I continued my project with my groupmates. For my actual period of ELA my teacher just told the class to read chapter 13 for 30 minutes and then talk about it until class ended. Now for dismissal, everyone in my class was waiting for my teacher to call out their bus number so they could leave. Unfortunately, what they didn't know was that it was going to take a long time. The first came after 30 minutes, then the second after 15 minutes, the third after 10 minutes, and mine at 5 minutes. I waited a whole hour for the bus to come.

On Google News I read a story about a man named, "Mike Hughes" plans on flying in his own hand made rocket to prove that the Earth is flat. He 61 years old, he is a limo driver
but also a selt taught rocket builder. He plans to fly his own own rocket on November 25th or Saturday. Mike claims that his rocket can go 500 miles per hour. His plan to fly a rocket high enough to get photographic proof that the Earth is flat. Other "flat" theortists like Hughes claim that the Earth is a disk and not a globe. Many of these theorists also say that the NASA has doctered or changed the images that apparently show that the Earth is round. However I really doubt this is true considering how a former astranout says he flew over the Earth and nows its round. Anyway, that is it for today.

11/21/2017

The Thanksgiving break is near and I can't wait to enjoy it! However, I still feel that it is unfair considering we only get 4 days off (including weekends). But public schools get 7 days off (whole week) from school! Anyway, its not like I can change anything. Once I got to class most of the kids still weren't there so I took this time to put my stuff into my locker and start breakfast. Unfortunately, the rest of the kids came by then and rushed to the basket (with breakfast). At 8:55 A.M my teacher told my class to head out for Social Studies. At first, it was really quiet because my teacher had a sore throat and couldn't talk much. But the closer it was to the end, the louder the kids got.

After Social Studies my class headed to the gym for P.E. Since half the kids in my class were in chorus the gym was also awfully quiet. Most kids decided to not be loud or talk because they noticed how the teacher was so droopy and exhausted from the pervious homeroom. Once warmups were finished my teacher told the class we were going to be playing a game called, "Bean Bag Bean". Just hearing the name makes me wonder, "Where do they create this names?". It seems pretty dumb to call a game "Bean Bag Bean". When I explain the game I'll explain why. So your seperated into two teams, then each team gets a row of bean bags on each side's wall. When she (teacher) blows the whistle, everyone has to try and grab a bean bag from the other side.

Once you cross the half point line you can get tagged by someone from the other side. If they tag you, you have to sit down until someone tags you back into their side. After every bean bag is taken from one side back to the other the game ends and the side with no bean bags loses. This is what I am talking about when I say stupid names. Bean Bag Bean has nothing to do with running to the other side, has nothing to do with getting tagged, and nothing to do with the number of players on each time. The only relevance of the name is the fact that they have bean bags. I mean take "Dodgeball" for an example. Its a game where you "dodge balls". A good name of a game is when you get an idea of what your playing. If your playing a game where you tag people, you can't say, "Turtle Catch" because it has no connection to what it is about. I feel like I've made my point clear so I won't talk about it anymore.

Now I want to talk about some of the Google News. So I came across this brief story about a 30 year old submarine. Apparently, its gone missing for the past 6 days and still hasn't been found. Reports showing that many people are scared what may have happened to the 41 people on board. The story also explains how the relatives of those in the missing submarine are waiting by the edge of the sea for their loved ones. Along the fences they've put posters and pictures of those lost and pray that will will come back strong and healthy. Authorities say that the vessel only has a 7 to 8 day oxegen supply before it completely runs out. Great Britan has sent search parties in case any sign of the submarine has come to place.

Another story that I read was about Donald Trump "pardoning" his Turkey. At first I thought that it was really nice of him, and I still do. Especially when I read that the definition of pardon is "being forgiven". Now I know that the turkey probably hasn't done anything wrong but I guess that also means spare. So he technically spared the turkey from getting eaten. I feel like Trump is probably just eating the Turkey right now as we speak but that would be wrong, or is it? The turkey was called "Drumstick" which I think this pretty funny. I don't really want to explain why for those that haven't already figured out why because its kind of wrong, and I don't literally mean incorrect. More so, it doens't feel right". Anyway, thats it for today, until next time!

11/20/2017

Once the bus dropped me off of to school I walked inside and headed for my class on the second floor. When I got in my teacher was talking to a student so I quietly went to my desk so I would cause a scene. The breakfast was cheerios, crackers, orange juice, an apple, and carton of white milk. All I had was the cheerios and carton of milk since I wasn't hungry. At 8:55 I efficiently threw away my trash and got in line for Social Studies. For Social Studies I read a few pages on my textbook about the pilgrims and Thanksgiving. It wasn't a very "fun" class but also not boring because my teacher added a few jokes along the way to make it funny. My next class was Science and I walked in a line with my homeroom inside.

For Science class my teacher wanted my class to continue working on the outline for about 30 minutes. Once we finished the outline each kid got a chrome book, our teacher explained that he wanted us to log into "Brainpop.com" just to make sure we remember our login. I forgot my password but thankfully they had a link where you could make a new password. I was kind of worried that I would need an email but fortunately for me, all you needed to do was answer a series of questions that you got from when you made the account. I'm going to explain what Brainpop.com is for you because you may not know. Brainpop is a website that has videos and quizzes on all subjects. Science, Math, History, Grammer, its really great!

After Science I had lunch and didn't eat much of that because it was microwaved pasta (bad). The only thing I had was a carton of white milk to drink, then started talking to a few of my friends. By the time Lunch ended I was already walking upstairs to my class. When I walked in everyone was getting ready for Technology. I didn't want to bring my book pack and didn't have to but it didn't fit my locker so I had to carry it with me. Immediately, I grabbed a headset from the basket so that I could listen to music while doing the assignment. My technology teacher told the class to type the link on the board and click enter. Turned out it was about the google prize, where they let kids nationwide make their own google logo and submit it to google themselves.

Now i'll talk about google news. One story on the news talked about the moon and reasons why people want to go there. Now I know that a lot of you may not know this but NASA has made a contest for people to try and find the cheapest or most inexpensive way to go to the moon. So that already means that many companies and countries wish to go to the moon. Now it's time to let you in on the reasons why. First, "A vision for innovation", that means that countries and companies wish to expand and the moon is one way to do that. Now the onyl problem is how? Second, "Economic and Geopolitical advantages". Woudn't it be better for peace and resources for Earth? If countries work together to make a spacecraft for reaching the moon it would increase relatioships and put them at peace so there would be no disputes or wars.

When I say resources I literally mean resources. There is one resource on the moon called, "Helium-3" and it is like a powerhouse or fuel. Something that can be almost unlimited on the moon and is a way to continue manufactoring without pollution. That's right, helium-3 is nonpolluting so it wouldnt cause any more damage to our atmosphere. Third, "Easy Target", I don't really know what it means but I figured that it must have something to do with bring stuff back from the moon to Earth (samples) so that scientists can experiment with it and find new things that can help Earth. Fourth, "New Discoveries", we would be able to know more about the moon and see if the planet is habitable. Lastly, "We Learn About Earth". From reaching the moon we could learn more about the Earth's origin and how it came to be. Anyway, that is it for today.

11/19/2017

I don't even know what I'm going to type but lets get started. So I guess I'll start with what I did yesterday. After finished my post I waited until my dad came home and then he let me use my PS4. When I tried to use the Plaaystation Four I got really scared because it wasn't showing on the screen. I inspected the console to see if there were any plugs that weren't connected and then I saw a pile of dust on the side of it. This immediately made me think, that must be why it isn't working. So I asked my dad to make sure that it was dust and he blew it off the console for me. Once the dust was almost gone he left and I restarted the Playstation Four. Unfortunately it still didn't work. Now I was worried that my Playstation was broken and I couldn't use it anymore.

However, I turned off my TV and turned it on again, and guess what? I could see the PSN logo on the screen. I'm guessing something happened to the TV, but anyway I was able to use it. After about 5 hours of just trying to enjoy my PS4 as much as possible while keeping a low volume so I wouldn't annoy my dad, my aunt came up from the basement and told me that she would be going to the library. I wasn't surprised by this because every since she came to America, the library is where she goes to the most. I think this is mostly because it is so quiet there and she can just read a book (also sometimes movies). Another two hours of gaming and my aunt came back with some "General Tso Chicken"! I enjoyed it so much and pput the rest of it in the refrigerator for tomorrow (today).

Now I am going to be talking about the Google News. Remember yesterday, when I talked about the "Niburu" (supposed planet) and how there was going to be an apocolypse (what scientists said). Turns out they were wrong again, I say "again" because there have been many previous assumptions about the "End of Our Days". Apparently, in the Science section the same NASA scientist was on the photo and it said "Please stop annoying this Nasa Scientist with your ridiculous Planet X Doomsday theories". I mean, today is Sunday and as far as I know I don't see any end of the world signs. No earthquakes to be seen, no out of the world catastrophes to be worried of. There was no reason for me to be so scared yesterday about "Niburu" or "Planet X".

Okay so what I'm about to say sounds crazy but it's true. Apparently, Kim Jong Un is teaching children how to kill Americans. I actually can't believe this! Like, I know Donald Trump and Kim Jong Un hate each other but I can't believe someone who decided to teach kids how to kill. I know I wrote about him yesterday and how bad he was but never expected this. I guess, I underestimated how much the bond between Kim and Trump are. Its gone from "Worse", to "Horrible", and now "Devestating"! The report says North Korea has pictures practically everywhere about how bad America is. Children are taught that Americans are evil at birth! They have images of American soldiers dying and nuclear missles hitting American fighter jets on textbooks, posters, and restuarants.

At camps, kids are shown virtual pictures of American soldiers and are supposed to shoot them with toy assualt rifles. In the report a quote from a kid stating, Americans, Japenese, and South Koreans - they are our enemy. I dream fo killing them" is just plain bad. They are also told to bow and praise the country's supreme leaders (including Kim Jong Un). Kim Jong Un is just uhhh. I can't even describe him, the country is just so isolated from the rest of the world. Ever since he took leadership of North Korea Kim Jong Un started put troops around the border to prevent anyone from escaping. America has a border and troops on it as well, but they only do it to make sure no illegal immigrants come in or illegal stuf is sent out. That is it for today!

11/19/2017

Today I want to start the post with Google News since I haven't even eaten breakfast yet. I scrolled down the sections and found a pretty frightening story. Apparently, some numerologists say that a planet called "Niburu" will reach our solar system and eventually make Earth an apocalypse, with dozens of earthquakes all around the globe The thought of this really scared me because it said that this would happen on Sunday (tomorrow). I've seen multiple stories like this before and none of them have ever come true but it stills scares me just thinking of it. So as I scrolled down, I saw a video about an astronomer called, "David Morrison PH.D." (Nasa Senior Scientist). He stated that Niburu and Planet X (another story) aren't real and that you don't have to be worried.

I'm still a bit scared about this actually coming true and I've watched a bit too many of these videos so I've decided to stop worrying about it. I mean, if its true then there is really nothing that we can do, right? Unless the Government has some super secret high tech weapon that can destroy a planet, not. Another story I saw was about tax reforms. So when I read the first paragraph it said that tax would increase for people who made 75,00 to 25,000 over the next decade and wealthier people would get less tax. This seemed pretty unfair to me, why can't everyone just have the same amount of tax? Or better yet, the richer people have to pay more tax? I think that is better so people who make less money can support their families or themselves.

Now I am going to talk about something a little more my style, games! I love playing games and I think that they can be very fun. That is why I found and want to talk about the "2017 Golden Joystick Awards". I assume that this is something all gaming companies want their games to win. The "Game of the Year Award" went to "Overwatch" and frankly, I'm not surprised. It won game of the year last year and now this year. It's an amazing game all around. Then they announced best teams of Esports for certain games. And you can already guess, the number one team was "Seoul Dynasty" and the game they played was "Overwatch". This whole team is actually "South Korea"" but they needed to change their name in order to play in the Esports tournament (they are also the ones that won the tournament).

I just finished reading this whole article about North Korea and I think that I know understand everything. I already knew about how bad people in North Korea were being treated but I never understood the people themselves and how they feel. Now I am going to share to you about what I read on North Korea and how people are being treated. The article starts off talking about when Kim Jong Un became the new leader of North Korea many people thought that he was going to bring prosperity to North Korea because of how young he was and the things he would say. When I say things that he would say I mean like how he would tell the people that he would raise the economy and that living during the era of Kim Jong Un would be time of greatness. Yeah, it wasn't like that at all.

As I went further down the article it started getting more in detail. For instance, people had to do many illegal stuff in order to get money. Back then, money was something that everyone needed to get by and that there were very few things that money couldn't get. People who sell drugs and ice (very popular). I think that was why many people left North Korea, because of the money (during that time). Now Kim Jong Un has made money a lot easier to get so less and less people are escaping because of that. Nowadays, they only want to escape because they are disillusioned and don't know what to do. The stories that were written in the article were from North Koreas who escaped. Thats, all for today. I guess I did the whole post on Google News, good bye.

11/17/2017

Once I entered my class it was 8:45 A.M. The breakfast that the school gave was pretty bad. The only redeeming quality of it was the muffin which was only two inches long!  Anyway, at 8:55 A.M my teacher told everyone in the class to get out and walk to Technology. This was what I was talking about when I said that the teachers were trying to give us more freedom. Now, instead of walking us to our classes the teachers just tell us to get out. I think the only reason their even allowing this is so that they don't have to walk all the way to their homeroom's next class and then come back to their room with another waiting for them, I would feel the same way.

During Technology I was told to finish the photo album from last week's class. However I already completed the photo album so I just watched youtube the whole class until Dance. It was a pretty good period, too bad it was only the first one. I would rather it be at the end of the day so that I could watch some youtube and then go home. After Tech my teacher dropped my class to dance (which is also in the cafeteria). Everyone in my class put their bookpacks against the wall and then got into their rows. My teacher clearly stated that she was unimpressed with the time it took the class to get ready and I agreed with her. It may have sounded pretty fast from the way I explained it but in reality it took 2:16 seconds just to put a couple bookpacks against the wall and then get in their spots (should have taken 30 seconds at least).

The teacher told everyone that we should get into our groups from last class and create an extension for the dance that we started working on previously (which I forgot). All of the kids in my group were trying to moves that are performed by some very talented dancers. Like for instance, this one group called "BTS" is really good and the one girl that is addicted to it in my class is also the only one that can do it. I was trying so hard to follow what she was doing but in the end it was hopeless. Let me show you a picture of "BTS". So what you see down below is how they look like and if you see some of their songs they can dance almost symmetrical. It makes me feel kind of bad for myself, the only reason I even know them was because the girl was begging everyone to watch them.

The rest of the school day was just time. I didn't care about anything else and just wanted the day to be over as fast as possible. Another 4 hours, but luckily I made it without dying of boredom. On the ride home I talked to one of my friends about some games and then he left to go home. When the bus got close to my stop I saw my dad and sister walking towards the house. I wanted to sneak behind them but they stopped to see if I was on the bus so my plan was ruined. By the time we reached the house it was 4:30 P.M and I wanted to finish my homework as fast as possible so I immediately started reading my book. That's all for my day.

On Google News I saw a story about how a scary robot actually did a backflip. Now I know this may not seem cool to you because technology is expanding everyday but if does and then good. Apparently a company called "Boston Dynamics" (which is known for it's scary robots) had created a robot that is the closest to being "human like". Now I know this sounds weird and after all this company is mostly seen making "scary" robots but the clip that I watched was amazing! It showed the "human like" robot jump three blocks and then do a backflip from the last one. I was amazed and hope that one day I can get into robotics. Now the comments of this video were pretty hilarious. One said that "It is scary, but cool", but another said "imagine this robot with a machine gun" and I was laughing at that point. Anyway, see you later.

11/16/2017

When my bus dropped me off at school I walked to my class and then packed all the stuff I needed for my first two periods. The two periods I had were Science and Physical Education. I did think I needed to pack anything in my backpack for Science because all I had to do was take a quiz and then do an experiment with my teacher. For Physical Education you don't need anything except for your body because your just running and playing games that are supposed to improve your physical health, teamwork, and sportmanship. I don't really have good sportmanship because when my team lost our game last class I was pretty salty. And thing that really ticked me off was how my team was the first to get out.

Anyway I'm going to start with the classes. For Science I took the quiz as I already explained and got an 88% on it which I think is still good because it brings my grade up and I technically passed. Then, once everyone was quiet my teacher put two cups full of water on every table and then dropped food coloring to see how most of it drops to the bottom of the cup and the rest stay up. The reason most of the food coloring drop to the bottom of the floor is because of how dense they are. The rest get diffused a lot faster and you can see that from the cup, sorry I can't actually show you a picture of how it looked like (the food coloring was green by the way). One of the kids in my class drank from it and I was so scared but then realized that it was only food coloring so you wouldn't die or get sick.

After Science I packed up and walked to the door as fast as I could so I would be the line leader. The walk to the gym took about 2 minutes and once we got there everyone got in a circle and waited until the teacher gave the word to start the warmup. By now, everyone in my class should know it by head so we don't need the teacher to remind us but sometimes its good because there are just those few kids who continue to talk and her yelling the warmup will usually bring them back from their conversation. The game we played was from last class and I got with the team that my teacher picked for me. I decided to be the prrotecter of the pin but eventually someone hit it and we lost (you already know how I felt).

Now I am going to skip lunch and recess because something happened in dinner that I wanted to talk about. Apparently, it was a girl's birthday in my class and I forgot all about it. She gave everyone pizza (from Domino's), cupcakes, and juice. I really enjoyed the food she served and on top of that, the regular lunch the school gave was macaroni (rarely get). Last thing I want to talk about, I asked one of my friends if he would give me his manga that he borrowed from the library and I was happy when he said yes. It was during independent reading so I wasn't not allowed to read it. The anime that it was based from is called "Black Butler". Apparently it is about a boy named Ciel who signed a contract with a demon butler where if the demon butler helped him get revenge on the people who killed his parents, then the demon would get his soul in return. It is pretty crazy but interesting and I liked it alot.

On Google News, I didn't understand the Top News because it was msotly political stuff and also a bit sexual. Besides that, why talk about a news story that  have no interest in? So that is why I went to my trusty Science section and found something pretty funny but also serious. Apparently at METI, they are sending radoi or soundwaves that consist of videos or sounds of us humans explaining what we know. I think that this si kind of absurd but also cool at the same time. Now if onyl we could actually find this "other" lifeform. The onyl reaosn I am saying that it is serious is because "Stephen Hawking" who I think is the smartest person in the world, said that contacting extraterrestial life is dangerous. Anyway, see you later.

11/15/2017

I really did not want to get out of my bed when the alarm rang so I stayed in bed for another 20 minutes. By that point I was pretty fed up with alarm clock and decided to just turn it off and go back to bed. Unfortunately my sister kept on annoying me by telling me to get up. The only reason she even says that is because she's too scared to downstairs by herself. I mean come on, that is why when she tried to hug me I moved her hands away and walked downstairs. I literally don't have to go until 8:00 A.M and my dad was even here, but no she decides to bother me instead. Anyway my dad dropped her to her bus stop and I left at 8:00 A.M saying goodbye to my dad.

By the time I got to school it was 8:45 A.M. I ate the breakfast that the school delivered and it was actually pretty good. I really enjoyed the hot pancakes with a carton of milk because it was really good. For first period I had Social Studies and my teacher was just going more in depth with the whole issue about how Columbus was a phony and bad. Then before class ended my teacher walked to his desk and pulled out a brown bag full of candy. I didn't know what it was at first but after he threw it to one person I started raising my hand in hopes that I got something. The second my hand was up he threw me a delicious Starburst that I greatly enjoyed. The flavor bursting in my mouth.

After Social Studies my next period was Community Circle and my class went to the auditorium. Once every Seventh grade class was in the room the Dean of Students walked to the middle and started talking about the school. She seemed kind of mad and was pretty mad during the middle of the period. She listed and announced all the bad things that she thought were happening to the Seventh grade especially. For one, dress code and she gave multiple detentions to those who weren't wearing the proper clothes. Another thing she was mad about, how some students were going to the field after leaving the bus (not me). I heard of this from a couple of kids but never paid attention to it until now.

When Community Circle ended it was time for Recess and Lunch. All the classes went back to their homerooms to get their lunches and jackets. Recess was pretty fun and I was sweating. For Lunch I ate chicken nuggets and was really happy because like I mentioned before, it was one of the only good lunches they gave. The lunch ladies doesn't even make the food. They just get it from a truck and then heat it in a microwave until they feel as if it is hot enough. The reason I know this is because the hot dogs that they give are almost always burnt. I'm not saying that makes it taste bad because I still think it tastes good but it is evidence to prove that they just microwave it.

On Google News there were many different stories but I just couldn't pick a story from the Top News because it was too complicated for me. That was why I went to the Science Section and saw something that was kind of frightning. Apparently, the sea level is rising and lowering at different times and different places. Where glaciers are melting the sea level is lower but for places that are farther away from glaciers melting the sea level will rise. I didn't understand this at first because if there was a glacier right next to wouldn't you think that the sea level near you and that glacier would rise? I guess not, if thats why Science says. Anyway, thats it for today.

11/14/2017

I was really tired when I woke up and stayed in my bed for another 15 minutes. Eventually I had the will to get out of my bed and wake up my sister. At 7:10 A.M I dropped my sister at her bus stop and came back as fast as I could to finish reading the new "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" book my friend gave to me. Apparently it came a month ago but since I never found out, now was the time to read it. When I first looked at the book it seemed pretty short but then I realized that because it was a paper back it didn't seem as thick as the hard cover version. I was really excited on reading it, the book was about how Greg and his family were trying to get away from the cold winter so they booked flight to the place where his mother and father had there honeymoon, the beach!

At 8:00 A.M I left my house and walked to the bus stop. This time it came at 8:08 A.M so it was a bit eariler than usual. While on the bus ride to school I was watching some videos on youtube since my friend let me put on one of his earplugs. The video was about a very popular game called "Fortnite". I play it on the Playstation Four and think that it is great. Right now the game is free so you can access it any time on PS4, Xbox One, or PC. I prefer to use PS4 only because I don't have an Xbox One and my dad's Mac is apparently too "outdated" to run the game. I don't want to explain the game and why it is so popular but if you want to know more about it either google it or check one of my most recent posts.

Since today was Tuesday I really enjoyed wearing my gym uniform and also having P.E (Gym). For first period I had Social Studies and was reading more about how Columbus wasn't good in any way possible. Honestly I agree that Columbus was a bad person, he took the Native Americans as slaves even though they were willing to give him anything they possessed for his friendship. Then he and his troops searched everywhere for gold and only found little bits. He claimed he had found Asia or China even though it was actually Cuba and went back to the Queen and King exaggerating the riches that the Indians apparently had. He was just a bad man in general and I can't believe none of my other Social Studies teachers told me about this.

For P.E my class did their usual warmups and then we played a game. I don't think the teacher had a name for it so I won't give it one either. For some reason, my class was really talkitive that class and my teacher got really mad. Once we finished playing the game she yelled at everyone to clean the gym and then line up for Lunch. Basically for the game, the teacher divided you into four teams and you each team would have 1/4 of the gym. The teacher then would put a bunch of balls in the middle to use. Each team also had a little cone with a hockey puck on top. Once the game started, if someone threw the ball and it hit the hockey puck off the cone then that team would sit out for the whole game. Last team standing would win the match (my team won the first round).

For Google News I am going to be talking about the top story on the news. In North Carolina a man randomly shot at a school and car killing 4 and wounding 10. Two out of the 10 were kids and they were shot by the man. He was shooting from his car and also shot a woman and her child whose car was very close to his. The reason the news says that it was "random" was because none of the dead or wounded people seemed to have known the shooter at all. I guess you could callt his guy a school shooter because he technically shot at the school. I was really depressed wen hearing this because we just started to stop talking about the Texas Shooting and now we have another massacre, maybe on as big but still bad.

2017/11/13

School wasn't the best day but also wasn't the worst. It was just plain boring, of course I learned stuff so it wasn't a complete waste of time but I feel like it wasn't as fun as most days. I could say that Monday's at my school are the second worst days right behind Wednesday because at least on Monday I have Technology. On Wednesday all I have is Health and that isn't the best special to have. So just to make sure you know, today was just boring. I never got in trouble at all, okay maybe because I went to throw some garbage without asking for the teacher's permission but nothing like getting hurt or a failing grade on a test. That I can asure you, anyway lets get started with the day.

Once I got out of my bed I walked towards my sister's bed and told her to wake up. The two of us headed downstairs and started getting ready for school. At around 7:00 A.M I made breakfast for the both of us until it was 7:10 A.M. By that time we were already heading out the door to her bus stop. The bus came 5 minutes after we reached there. Fortunately we weren't late and I went back home knowing that I was able to drop my sister without any problems. That was good and everything, but once I got inside the house I couldn't figure out what to do. This is the problem with my dad put all the electronics in a locked suitcase. I have literally nothing to do!

By the time I left the house it was 8:01 A.M and I ran to the bus stop because the earliest the bus has ever come is 8:05 A.M. Thankfully the bus came at 8:20 A.M and I was able to get to school with no relief. After eating the school breakfast our teacher told us we had to go to Social Studies. The school is trying to give us more freedom and let us go to certain classes with a teacher or in a line so I was extremely happy when I didn't see a teacher tell us to go down the stairs in coordination or without making noises. During Social Studies my class just started reading about Columbus and how he wasn't as great as the textbooks say he was.

The rest of the day wassn't that great either. The only highlights were Technology and something else I got to experience for the first time. During Technology my teacher told my class that we would have to go ahead and copy the exact slide that he drew on the board and I think I did pretty good. It was about the human skull and we would have to label the features on it. I finished it with 15 minutes left of class so I just watched "Fortnite" moments of youtubers who either did something super cool, won their game, or lost in a funny way. The other highlight was during Lunch. My teacher asked any students if they wanted to go to the bookmobile outside of the school and I did so I went inside and was able to get a book. It was actually pretty cool and I especially liked the manga part.

Now for the google news, I think I am going to just stick with one story on the top news. Apparently an Earthquake hit the Iraq border killing more than 450 people. Many sit on the streets fearing for aftershocks. Photos were taken of people dead and buildings almost completely gone. On the photos I could see many Iran and Iraq people holding their only valuables on their hands hoping to find some place to be taken cared of. The earthquake which was the deadliest of the year was felt all the way to Pakistan. I wonder if any people died in Pakistan but it couldn't have been that bad there as it was in the Earthquake's epicenter or where it actually started erupting. Anyway, see you later.

Monkyi 's practice

Today i am going to be talking about what i did today. Today i had school so me and my brother woke up at six o clock. Then we went down stairs to get ready for school. First we brushed our teeth then we changed into our uniform. After we changed into our uniform we went to the kichen to have breakfast. For our breakfast today we had cinimon cereal. After we ate breakfast my brother dropped me to my bus stop. When we got to my bus stop we waited for the bus to come pick me up. When i got on the bus i sat next to my friend. When i got to school i walked to my class room. when i got to my class room i unpacked my things and went to my desk. When i got to my desk i did my do now. After i finished my do now since i am a homework checker for my group my teacher called all the homework checkers so that she could check our homework and so that the homework checkers can check there group. After i checked my group i went back to my teachers desk so that she could see who did there homework and who did not do there homework. My whole group did there homework so no one has to get there name written on the board to do it before lunch.

11/12/2017 diary

Today I am going to talk about the book that I read. I read for about 30 minutes but the book is called "The Century" For Young People". I have already read the other two versions of this book that my father brung from the library and I have to say they satisfied me greatly. I loved how much detail they put into the events going on during the timelines. You see, each book has their own time that they are mainly focusing on. The one that I just read is 1936 to 1961. The other two I read are from 1961 all the way to 1999. Another thing I love about the book is how they actually have people who have experienced these events come and talk about how life was like for them, this really contributes to the book's success.

Now I am going to be talking about what I read so far. So the book starts with the title (of course) and then an introduction. I read the introduction, even though they have the same one for every book because the author himself wrote it. He says that most young readers don't really care about events from this far past and think its boring. Apparently to him, they are fun and exciting and he wants to share what he's learned with other people (specifically young people so that they can learn history in a "funner" way). When I first read it I was kind of thinking, how could reading (especially the way he's talking about it) be fun? And even though I finished it I wasn't totally satisfied. Fortunately, once I finished the book I recalled all the interesting facts I learned.

Like for instance, I learned more about how mean and horrible Adolf Hitler was, treating the Jews like that (blaming them for all of Germany's problems). Even if the Jews did do something bad, its not like they killed as many Germans has Germans killed Jews. Some other information I learned was how during the "Great Depression", Roosevelt became the president and brung people's hopes up. In the end the Great Depression was nearly gone and America was just getting itself together again. Now for what i've read today, even after the Great Depression Roosevelt was tempted to help certain countries who he thought deserved it.

I am now going to skip to the news because that is something I am fairly interested in. The first story that really caught my eye was about the "Texas Shooting". I know the Texas Shooting is a subject that is getting kind of old but it was one of the top stories so I'm going to talk about it. Apparently, a chruch is mourning the losses of the victims in the Texas Shooting. Specificlaly, the ones that attended that very church. A man by the name of "Frank Pomery" is the pastor of the church. Among the victims his daughter was also shot and killed. A quote from him stating "The people who died lived for their lord and savior". I don't really believe the whole religion aspect of his view but I do agree that they will not be forgotten by the people at their church and loved ones.

The other news story that I saw had potential to be in this post, is about Donald Trump and North Korea. You know, I feel like Donald is almost always in every top news story because his name is always in the story or he's actually related in some way but I am not saying that is a bad thing. Anyway, back to the post. So Donald Trump has been throwing some comments at North Korea and North Korea is firing back as well. I really feel as though the tensions between those two is veyr bad and could eventually start into a World War III. However I know that if a war actually does happen (with nuclear weapons), America would do a lot more damage and almost completely destroy North Korea. Now i'm not getting cocky because I know they'll fire a "lot" of rockets and bombs at us. Anyway, thats it for the post.

11/11/2017

I don't really know what to talk about so be prepared for what your about to interpret. First I want to talk what I was doing yesterday after the post. After school end, I walked to my afternoon bus and waited until the rest of the kids got on. While waiting I was sitting with two of my friends in the back because usually, the bus attendant doesn't come there. Once the first kid was about to get off I raised my hand for the bus attendant to come to me and asked if I could get off at my friend's stop since it would be a lot faster to get to my house if I did. I really thought that maybe they would let me but unfortunately they didn't so I was stuck rambling to the kid next to me for another 10 minutes before getting off.

At my house, I completed all of my homework and then patiently waited until my dad was done watching the TV. This was mainly because I wanted to use my PS4 but also because I refused to make my dad angry. Fortunately, I didn't have to wait very long and after plugging in all cables into the TV and Playstation I was ready to start. The first message I got was from my friend who said that,"For Honor" was back in all caps! I assumed that must mean he was super excited because "For Honor" was his favorite game. Back then when "For Honor" was free to play the two of us would always get on it. The only reason I don't want the game is that none of my friends have it yet (fully).

Now I am going to talk about today. When I woke up I heard a faint sound coming from my dad's room. I was fairly interested on what made the sound and found out it was my sister using my dad's phone. After waiting a few minutes, my dad walked downstairs and my sister started taking a shower. I stayed in my bed a little longer before going down because I was so comfy and warm underneath my blanket. Eventually, I reluctantly went downstairs to brush my teeth and wash my face. By the time I finished (brushing teeth and washing face) my dad was almost done making breakfast so I cleaned my glasses and then poured mango juice and milk for my sister and I.

That is pretty much my day so far, my aunt left the house 20 minutes ago and my sister and dad did the same later on so right now i'm by myself. I guess its time for some "Google News"! I am aware that I rarely talk about the "World" and "Top News' sections so that is my primary focus for the rest of the post. On the "World" section it talked about how Trump's wife visited the Great Wall of China without the supervision of Donald Trump himself. However, that doesn't mean that she doesn't have at least 20 Secret Service agents protecting and watching her every move. On the news, it talked about how beggers in India were forced to move out of the streets because Melania Trump was going to walk through there. That seems kind of harsh in my opinion though I couldn't do anything to prevent that from happening. However they are being taken care of so its kind of a win.

Now on the "Top News" section, apparently Donald Trump and Vietnam are best friends now because the title of the story says, "Trumps says Vietnam is a "Great Miracle". He says that Vietnam and America have come a long way, references to the Vietnam war. He even says that there is nothing more important than the success of the country. There are multiple other stories in the story that I just can't go through but doesn't this seem like a bit too much. Then again, I'm just a kid, right? But still, it seems weird to just praise a country even though they were fighting each other in a war, however, I could also just be misguided and the two countries are now actually friends. Anyway, see you later.

11/10/2017

As you already know from yesterday's post, today is Friday and a half day at school as well. Now I am going to explain what I did today. After getting out of my bed I woke my sister and the two of us walked downstairs to the playroom. There, I stayed in the covers a little more before changing my clothes and brushing my teeth. However my sister immidiately started getting herself ready so I didn't need to worry about who gets to use the hair brush or who gets to use the bathroom. Once the both of us got ready we ate breakfast (she forgot to put her bowl in the sink) and put on our sweaters and shoes. At 7:10 A.M I ran with her to the bus and we were the second people there.
I felt accomplished that I cleaned myself up, changed into my school clothes, and ate breakfast before dropping my sister off because that usually never happens. By the time the bus came it was 7:25 A.M and I was running back home because of how cold it was outside, it wasn't actually cold but the there was so much wind. For the rest of the time I had inside the house before getting out I reviewed the homework that I did and checked Dance paper I got yesterday for a quiz. Then at 8:00 A.M I went out the back door and ventured through the streets until I got to my bus stop. At 8:05 A.M the bus came and that was pretty early, if I came 1 or 2 minutes later I definitely would not have made it.
At school I started eating breakfast and packing up for my first two periods. The first period that I had was Technology. For Technology I pretty much got free time, but two of my friends pushed me to help them on our project. Okay i'll explain to you what our project is. Basically, during Health my teacher announced that my class is going to be doing a project on the "Seven Dimensions of Wellness". At first I was confused on what this meant and thought it was something like "Nirvana" but it is actually a lot different. Apparently these are the "Steps" or things you need to have in order to have a happy life. I am going to be naming all of them right now, Physical Wellness, Intellectual Wellness, Spiritual Wellness (kind of like Nirvana), Occupational Wellness, Emotional Wellness, Social Wellness, and Environmental Wellness.
So we are supposed to get in groups of three and make a slideshow on all of the dimensions of wellness. I decided to so Intellectual Wellness and Spiritual Wellness because I figured my religion has a lot to with religion and I think i'm pretty smart. My other two partners decided to use google slides thinking that it would be a lot easier and I agree. I didn't have to do anything because we still had another 3 weeks to complete this and I kind of wanted to watch a video on youtube, however my friends thought differently and decided that they would start working on the slides. The video I watched was on Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, one of my favorite games right before Naruto.
On Google news I checked a story in the world section which talked about how Trump's wife is enjoying her life in Asia right now or specifically China. I can't really imagine how that feels because i've only been to India but it must be fun. Then in the Science section they are talking about how a man who killed himself had given all his organs and body parts to people who need it. A man around the same age had lost his face and was in need for a new one. Unfortunately it doesn't say how the man lost his face but I can see now that it really meant a lot to him that he has his life back. The man's wife who was shocked when she heard about the death wanted to see the man who her husband's face had gone to. The video that I watched was really emotional and I could tell it came from the heart.

11/09/2017

Today I am just excited that tomorrow is a half day and also the last day of the week. However that doesn't mean that I did nothing while at school today. Once I got on my bus to go to school one of my friends told me that two of my other friends were now on my afternoon bus. This got me really excited because now I had more people to talk to since the one friend I usually talk to on the afternoon bus is almost always doing practice for "Cross Country". Now I have a few other people, on the bus my friend let me hear the song he was watching by letting me use one of his earplugs. Then before the bus got to school, we started watching a creepypasta (scary story) on Youtube and it was about Disney Park.
At my class I was eating breakfast when a kid that I was talking to last night on Playstation Four came inside. I rushed over to him and we started talking about how one of his friends tricked him and killed him while he was trying to work together and get 1st place on the game that they were playing. I remember the kid he was talking about saying that it was so funny how he purposely broke the bridge they were on before getting on another game. This seemed like a really mean thing to do but was also a good way to get revenge on someone in the game. I already had a few people on mind who I think deserve this, but I'm not pointing any names.
For first period I had Science and was just finishing the outline that the class was working on. After Science I had P.E and walked with my class to the gym where we did our warmup. For the warmup we did our usual pushups and situps along with a couple other excercise as well. The warmup game we played was basically where there were 5 teams, each with their own color. On the opposite side of the gym were bean bags that our teacher randomized and hid with polly spots. Once the countdown started one person from each team would try to lift the pollyspot and see if the bean bag was their color. If it was you could take it and bring it to your team, however if it wasn't you would have to run back and let the next person go.
Now I am going to skim past the rest of the periods. The next class I had was Lunch and Recess and I really enjoyed it. Then I had Technology, and just watched youtube until the class ended because I finished the assignment our teacher told us to do from last class. Once Technology was done I had two periods of ELA. During ELA all I did was read for 30 minutes independently and then take a theme test which was worth a lot of points. I would really enjoy it if I found out that I got a 100 on the test because I put my all into it. That was pretty much all I did at school. At Math I took a Topic 3 exam and then got on my afternoon bus to go home.
On Google News I checked and saw that in the Technology section Apple is still saying that the iPhone X is going to be the best thing ever. All I see is, iPhone X is going to be bigger and better. I am trying to stop looking at this but sometimes it is a bit interesting to look at the pictures. Another story talked about a pro gaming team called "Liquid", lost one of their players (died). The family still hasn't said anything about how he died, apparently the gamer was actually 30 and many people said that he was too old to play videogames. However he didn't listen and helped his team become pro. He is now being sympathized by his teamates and family members with stories. That is all for today.

Dream shoes

This weekend was like an epic study moment session where I just spent all of my time just practicing for the ELA EOY, the Math EOY, and the...
