Today guys I read about a famous man. If you don't already know this man was very special, not saying your not special, just that he was the "King of Pop". The man is called Michael Jackson. Michael Jackson was a very talented singer and realized he was an amazing dancer later on. The thing is his name is confusing for me. You see usually when I say names like his I usually spell it "Micheal", however you spell his name like this "Michael". Thats why I will purposely spell his name wrong for the sake of difficulty. Now lets start talking a bit about him.

Micheal Jackson was born in Gary Indiana. He and his brothers formed a band called the "Jackson Five". The "Jackson Five" were really popular and their most recognizable figure was Micheal himself. While they entered contests the band had a dream to get a record deal with a place called "Motown Records". Apparently this record deal could be bigger than any other record deal where they live. Fortunately for them the "Jackson Five" did get a record deal and became stars already. The leader of "Motown" was called Berry Gordy. The Berry heard their song he already knew that the "Jackson Five" would become number one on the music charts.

"Motown" then moved to Los Angeles, California in order to record labels there. The place where the band lived was right next to a famous star called Diana Ross. She was part of a group called the "Supremes". Diana taught Micheal most of his art and music during his childhood. Soon enough the group were pop stars and had to be taught discipline. Luckily Micheal's mother always used to inform them about manners in and off the table. Micheal now didn't really like all the attention he was getting. All the girl fans would try and grab him. Sometimes they could actually hurt him accidentally.

Later on in life Micheal became uglier. His growth spurt wasn't functioning well and he had lots of pimples on his face. He was so embarrassed that whenever he washed his face the kid would turn off the lights to cover his monstrosity of a face. His brothers and father would also laugh at him or joke about the pimples. After a while one of the Jacksons left the band in order to marry Berry's daughter. When the change happened Micheal decided to leave also on purpose. Instead he acted in a movie called "The Wiz" with Diana Ross. It was one of his happiest moments.

Micheal then created more songs and at the Grammy he one an award. It was for the highest award in the music business. Then Micheal decided to fire his manager which by the way was his dad. He just didn't want his father to keep being around him every step of the way and hired a new manager by the name of "Paul McCartney". Together they even created a song called "The Girl is Mine". Micheal Jackson then made a huge hit because of a song called "Thriller". "Thriller" sold ten million copies in one year. At ten years the song reached up to one hundred million copies sold. It was phenomenal. Anyway next time I post guys Ill talk about the rest.

New York Times (2)

So today guys I was reading some articles in the "New York Times" instead of reading a book. The reason I'm reading the "New York Times is because my father told me to do it. So today I will be talking about one articles that I read. The first one is about a disease called Cholera. I can give you the exact definition right now. Cholera means, "infection of the small intestine by some strains of the bacterium Vibrio cholerae. Symptoms may range from none, to mild, to severe. The classic symptom is large amounts of watery diarrhea that lasts a few days. Vomiting and muscle cramps may also occur.". So there you are.

The article that I am reading is talking about a plague that occurred because of Cholera. It all began in a town called "Rendel, Haita". Cholera was in this town before Hurricane Matthew struck it. Apparently this disease came from the mountains and then descended down into this town. A priest that lives there said that 90 percent of the people that used to live there left. Only 10% are remaining . There are two reasons why the 90% left. One is because of Cholera and the other is because people who have Cholera are trying to find a medic center. One sign of Cholera is vomiting.

Even the mayor of this town was taken to a medic because he had it. Another deputy died. Not to mention the hurricane that struck the town. All the houses and buildings have been crumbled to the ground or the walls have disappeared. Right after the Hurricane when people caught this disease everyone was leaving. One of the nurses at the medical center has said that a girl told the nurse she had diarrhea and that didn't mean she had Cholera. The sad part was that the girl was wrong. Even if she wasn't vomiting and only having diarrhea that still means she has a chance of getting it.

Unfortunately there is even worse news. If you have Cholera you can worsen your health and quicken the process by becoming unprepared and not having crucial items. You need to develop skills like boiling water or decent hygiene. If you don't it is sure that Cholera has a faster rate of overtaking you and your body. Now I'll talk about the nurses at the medic center. There is only one lantern in the whole area and the nurses have 12 hour shifts. One time so many people came that the medic center didn't have enough IVs to give to everyone.

For my last paragraph I'm sorry but I cant talk about the other articles because their is just too much information to go through this article. The 10% of people who are still in the town are praying that their relatives and neighbors will come back to help them. Until then they have to stay there and hope not catching the disease. Their are even chances of people who have Cholera to enter new cities and spread this disgusting virus. People have been saying the whole place looks like the end of the world. I know you don't want to get Cholera, do you?

So today is a really sad day because a kid named "George Gonzalez" apparently died. The reason I said apparently died was because some of the kids in my class still believe he's barely alive. Sorry to break it to you but the kid is dead. You know why? The reason is because on the news it explains how the kid died. I just don't get why it had to be our school. George was new to our school and was already making a bunch of friends. Suddenly he gets hit by a school bus and everyone on his bus sees it it. The kids that were on his bus saw it happen and when they got to class they cried. Literally half the class was crying. Fortunately with my amazing skills I was able to make my friend happy and laughing.

Even the teacher at my school was regretting his decision to give George lunch detention until November 11th. Now thats something I would feel guilty for. All the kids on the afternoon bus were still sad and crying however while in the middle of the day every 6th grade teacher made a decision to let their kids play for a whole 1 hour and 25 minutes. While everyone was playing none of the girls and boys who cried cared anymore and were dancing constantly over and over again. I was playing soccer with about 20 boys and it was free for all. Their were about 4 goalies and a bunch of players. In total I scored 7 goals.

Before we even went to the football field to play I had math class. In Math class the teacher told us to copy a line plot and put decimals inside of them. I don't know why but it was actually pretty fun. I had a good time with my group talking about school and other stuff like homework. We got to take two breaks and then went to the field. After the field the whole 6th grade had lunch and I drank too much water. I drank some much water that one of my friends almost said I was over-hydrating.

In the morning my class had Gym or PE. It was really fun because the teacher told us to run in a circle for a  few minutes and we played two games. In order to play the two games or teacher needed a parachute. You know those parachutes that Gym teachers use for activities? It has a rainbow color and is really wide. The first game we played with the parachute was involving two teams. Each team had to go on the other side of the middle color and then they would shake the parachute. The teacher would then throw the ball in the middle of the parachute and whichever side the ball is on after a certain amount of time is the loser.

The game was pretty fun in my opinion. However my team lost and only got one point while the enemy team got about 3. Now the other game we played before the period ended was called "Sharks". They're is supposed to be two sharks and two lifeguards. However you can pick more if you want. Every person had to sit down while the sharks went under the parachute. While you sat down your feet had to be under the parachute as well and when you started shaking the sharks had to pull you inside the parachute. If your sitting down the only way you will win is if you have a lot of luck. The lifeguards were able to go inside the parachute as well and help people get out. It was really fun and I was the shark on the first round. Thats all for today and goodbye.

Paladins!

For today's post we will be talking about an incredible game called Paladins that I discovered a few days ago. Some people are saying that Paladins is the exact same thing as a game called "Overwatch". I hope everyone here is familiar with this game so I don't need to to talk about it. Paladins is very similar to Overwatch because of the in game characters and layout. Paladins has the same payload and control point system as Overwatch. Some of the characters in Paladins have the same weapons or abilities. If you want to go on youtube and search it up go ahead, but I want to start about school.

At school today I remember what my father told me to do. Find my jacket and bring it home. So far I didn't have much luck. I couldn't find any traces of the jacket while I was in my homeroom and the "lost and found" only had gray sweaters. Since my bus was 35 minutes late due to an incident I had to eat breakfast during Science. My regular homeroom teacher wasn't there because he just got married. Me and my classmates think that him and his new wife are on their honeymoon so we didn't bother. For Science I had to copy down the new words onto flashcards and then do the lesson review. Apparently I didn't finish the lesson review in class so I did it at dismissal.

After Science my whole class had two periods of ELA. At ELA we were taking our Spelling test. The words weren't that hard and I breezed through them. When the spelling test was over our teacher said we had to copy down the new words and define them. In my opinion that took way too long and before you know it, my class was having it's snack. When ELA was finished my class had Math. Was actually pretty fun and I was even called out. When I say called out I mean my teacher said my name out loud because I did my homework properly! Thats the feeling a person should have when they do something good.

At Health class we just took a quiz and reviewed it. The class wasn't going slow either because it ended pretty quickly. My friend and me finally got suspicious. How come the classes that are usually fun always go by so quickly? Is it because "time goes by when your having fun?" or is it because the periods are purposely shorter the others. That would explain a lot of things. Anyway after Health we had Lunch and since the food was disgusting I didn't eat it. However in Snack time my teacher let me grab a bag of pancakes from breakfast and eat it.

For my last paragraph I will be talking about Test Prep and Social Studies. At Test Prep she told us that had to reread a passage and answer the questions and page 14 and 15. For some reason the main character of the passage was called Gretchen and that was very close to my name. With that knowledge I have made a theory that everyone in the class was purposely trying to make Gretchen sound like "Rinchen" which I think is very insulting, but funny. At Social Studies we were reviewing again for the test tomorrow and everyone was trying to focus. Unfortunately one of the students, Nicole, was being a bully by calling one of the new kids disgusting and she got in trouble. Well that it everyone and bye bye.

Some Birthday

Yesterday my classmate's birthday finally came. Actually it was Friday, but who's gonna complain. Anyway she gave everyone in the class three items. A cupcake, chips, and drink. I told you all of these "treats" that she was supposed to give yesterday. My friend and me were really excited and pumped fists. Apparently when we fist bumped the guy fell down. Then we did it again only this time he faked the fall. However I know the first one was real because he actually fell down and wasn't laughing. The second time he laughed before he fell down. At our afternoon bus the both of us watched some youtube on his phone and drank juice.

Another satisfying event that happened today was that I got a 92.5 on my Social Studies test. My actual score was supposed to be 87.5 and my friend noticed it. Thats why he told me to tell the teacher because he was jealous. When he said that everyone in my group was laughing about him being jealous that I got a better score. It was really funny. So funny that the teacher realized I was laughing and gave me a warning. When I told the teacher the mistake he made grading the man said that I could keep my score due to the fact that I showed integrity. If you want to know what integrity means I dare you to read one of my first posts that I ever made.

After him telling me I could keep my score I headed up to my friends and told them the news. Apparently my friend, John, got really mad and his face got all red. Everyone was laughing and when he heard us laugh there was just no way he could be angry anymore. At recess I did play soccer with my friends and scored a goal. I was also able to hit the ball with my head while it was in the air! Thats a  really big accomplishment for me. Umm, I did learn more about Singular Possessive and finished my Math homework. That is all I can really say about school for today.

Today at home I did finish the book I talked about called " The Girl Who Chased Away Sorrow. The Diary of a Navajo Girl.". Last time I told you guys that I wasn't able to finish the book and know I did so I'm going to summarize the book in my way. This book is about a girl named Sarah Nita who's family was overrun by white people. The white people decided to travel all the way to a fort and by doing this forced the Navajos into a long journey. This journey was called "The Long Walk". I certainly can't imagine being in this girl's position.

When the Navajo people reached the fort Sarah Nita and her sister decided to look for their mother and father since the two were separated form them. In the end Sarah Nita made new friends and family. While on the fort the white people were informed to take some of the Navajo people to another fort called "Fort Summer". While on this second journey the two of them and their family saw many people left behind or dead. Other people escaped or drowned while passing rivers. It was completely uncivilized. When the two kids reached "Fort Summer" they found their parents. The End

Full Sail

Today I am reading a book called "The Girl Who Chased Away Sorrow. The Diary of Sarah Nita, a Navajo Girl. I don't know what Navajo meant when I first read the word so I googled it. It means "A member of an American Indian people of New Mexico and Arizona". The word could also mean "The Athabaskan language of the Navajo". So far the book is about a girl named Sarah Nita. It talks about her living in a Hogan (a traditional Navajo hut made out of log and Earth). She has a family of 6 and is afraid of white people at the time. You see she has heard stories about white people who are taking away her people into distant lands.

It seems that the U.S government is also trying to take away the land of the Navajo. They are forced to leave their home and go to Fort Summer. I don't know much about this story because I didn't finish it. However I have very strong feeling that this book will be finished in a few days. The image on the front page of the book shows a picture of Sarah Nita and  people traveling. This book is in a series called "Dear America". "Dear America" is basically children or people who talk about their adventures.

Now that I have finished talking about this book I would like to talk about yesterday's post. You see on the last paragraph yesterday I wrote about Full Sail University and my father heard me read the whole thing. Then before I played my Ps4 I asked him wether or not he thinks this college is good. Then I asked him out of three universities which one is better? Yale, MIT, and Full Sail. He told me that Yale was the best. Then I asked him if Full Sail was better than MIT. He replied with a no. I can understand why he said no, but the man didn't even hesitate for a brief second!

I mean you gotta give Full Sail some recognition for at least becoming a university at all. They have one of the best music programs ever and you don't hesitate! The time between me finishing the question and him answering was so short I bet I couldn't even say the number one. Now I want to give you some more info about Full Sail so you can think about submitting your application there. Full Sail was founded by John Phelps in Dayton, Ohio 1979.

It says that he has invested more than 10 million dollars on the build. The layout of Full sail is very attractive. Everywhere you go it looks like a Hollywood style setup. In June 2010 it opened its Studios Gateway Project which made a 22,000 square foot plaza. Thats one of the reasons why video game production was included as well as recording studios. Thats the reason why me and my friends want to go there. Theres lots of space for us to relax and make video games together. Then we can share our ideas and improve what we've started. Its a big dream that I wish to accomplish.

Books, Books, and more Books

Hi, as you should know yesterday I read a book called "A Message For General George Washington". Surprisingly the book was pretty good. I totally plead you to read books that seem boring, but have an amazing and adventurous storyline. The book when I first looked at it seemed boring. I thought it would be like a diary or journal of a soldier during the war, and like always I was wrong. The author of this book is called "Vivian Schurfranz". If the author is for some reason reading this, your name was too hard for me to recognize even after a few tries so yeah.... The picture of the book was however cool. You can see George Washington sitting on his horse next to the army.

Now that I'm done talking about yesterday's book I'd like to talk about the anime "One Punch Man". The man who is called "Saitama" is of course the main character. When I was talking about this anime last time the first link was Wikipedia, so I pressed on it. Know I know why people say to never trust Wikipedia. It says for the plot that everyone in the "Hero Association" doubts his strength because he is a normal human being. However when Saitama took the exams everyone was astonished and embarrassed.

Most of the people trying out for the hero role gave up when watching him. The only reason they laughed at him before the tests started was because Saitama didn't look muscular and had a bad head. I cannot put a picture because that would waste time, but I encourage you to search images of Saitama and look at his physical appearance. In most of the photos he does not look muscular or unique at all. However if you scroll down for a few seconds you should see a photo of him carrying a tremendous amount of weights. This photo is one of the scenes taken place at the Hero Association.

I think I've talked enough about the cartoonish world and books. Lets talk about the world we are living in today.  Earth is not a very big planet in comparison to Jupiter through its appearance. An estimate of about 13,000 Earths could fit inside this tremendous planet. I mean If Jupiter unfortunately turned into a black hole the whole Earth would most likely be sucked in a matter of days. Thats how big Jupiter is compared to Earth. I don't know why so many people in my class picked Jupiter over Saturn during the planet report we were supposed to write about. Saturn is really amazing. If other planets do have rings around them Saturn must have the biggest.

For this last paragraph I will write about a college called Full Sail. Full Sail University was founded in 1979. They must have made a big goal since then. Full Sail is near Florida. If they were hit by Hurricane Matthew I feel bad for them. 15k students go to Full Sail and there are 55k graduates ever since. The whole Campus has approximately 210 acres of space and 110 studios and labs. I always wanted to write about Full Sail during my report, but I forgot about it. Instead I had to write about another college called "Cornell University". Anyway here is the logo of the university. See you later guys and have a great week!

Diary

Today I'm going to write about my day at school obviously. When I woke up it was 6:30 and I was so paranoid that my sister wouldn't be able to make her bus. So instead I stopped worrying and put on my clothes. Then we both brushed our teeth and she grabbed her snack. I was so surprised that we finished everything in 10 minutes that I let her watch some TV. At 7:10 we both ran out the door and I dropped her at the bus stop. After that I went back home and watched a bit of TV. Then my brain got to work and I arrived at my bus stop. When I got on the bus my friends were sitting right next to me and we talked for a while. As we entered the school I tied my shoes and got to homeroom.

Since my bus was late I had to get breakfast when Spanish was finished. I think they need to change that rule and let us take our breakfast to a different class when we're late. Sometimes my school is just stupid. In Spanish class it was a bunch of note taking. She showed us a video that I thought would take seventeen minutes but, it was only four. After Spanish we had Science and went back to our homeroom. For Science I had a lot of fun answering the  problems and almost finishing our worksheet.

For my class ELA (English Language Arts) was 90 minutes because we had a double period. In ELA my teacher (Mr. Correa) said we could work on our vocal words. The dictionary that he told us to use were huge. I thought I wouldn't be able to carry it for a second. The image I'm going to put up is not the dictionary we used but, its the one I was given in 3rd grade. If you somehow fid a way into my bookrack you'll find this exact dictionary inside of it. When I finished using the dictionary Mr. Correa told me to read the Hatchet book that was given. I finished the next two chapters and wrote sum marts until the class was over.

Finally ELA was finished and we lined up for our next class which was supposed to be Math. Fortunately we had Health class first because our Health teacher needed to go to Cross Country in his regular time. In Health he talked to us about a program called Fuel up to 60. The reason I am not committing myself to this is because I don't like or play football anyway. My favorite  team is the panthers though because of their logo. I just really don't care about the sport. Soccer is my goal really. Though if your school wins the top 5 point winners will get a chance to go to the meeting before the super bowl and have lots of fun. They give you a hotel and your own plane ticket to fly there! If it was soccer I'd definitely commit myself.

The last period I'm talking about is Social Studies. My teacher Mr. Hooper was talking about the debate. I think everyone in my class just wanted to stall time because if they wanted to, they succeeded. For the whole period we talked about the debate between the two of them. In my opinion Hiliary Clinton should win because she's going for Woman's rights. Even if its not affecting my at least its better than Donald Trump. He only wants power and is trying to build a wall that he believes Mexico will pay. I mean seriously!!! That all I want to talk about Donald Trump. See you later guys!

Another Half a Day.....

So today at school nothing really special happened. However my homeroom teacher told me that what he said was wrong. The first eight people in each class who reached thirty was not correct. Unfortunately he isn't going to tell us what the system is until the end of next week. On Monday we also don't have school because of "Columbus Day". I don't know why America or at least my school still focuses on this holiday. I mean most public schools don't celebrate it at all. Today was also a half a day so we got to leave early. Now lets begin by talking about Homeroom.

As soon as me and my friends entered the class we didn't see a lot of kids. Only about half of the students were there. Apparently my bus was early, which surprises me. I actually got to finish my breakfast and get ready for Science. Since Science started our teacher unexpectedly put on the news for Hurricane "Matthew". Matthew was supposed to be threatening to New Jersey, until the Hurricane center looked at it more carefully. Now Jersey city is not supposed to be hit by this Hurricane. I am really happy for. The hurricane however was drastically affecting Florida's coast lines and beaches.

After Science we had Social Studies. In Social Studies our teacher gave us the study guide that we had to keep for Tuesday in order to go further into the packet. After Social Studies we had Gym, but when we got upstairs to the gym no one was there except for our health teacher. I was about to be super excited because our health teacher this year was my gym teacher last year. Then our assistant teacher Ms. Amiko came into the class and told everyone that our 6th grade gym teacher was in the cafeteria waiting for us.

Now that we finally had our real gym teacher the activity started. He told all of us to set our book packs aside and sit in front of him. The activity for today was to find a group of seven people and sit  back down together. Then each team would go to the end of the pool spots and wait for our teacher to give the signal. The person running had to step on all the polly spots and not touch the ground. At the other side you had to grab a tiny ball and go back to your group. Whoever has the most balls by the time there is no more is the winner. The girls beat everyone two times. I'm just going to get that out of the way.

After gym we had one more period. It was math...... For math our teacher was going to review the questions from the test that we took yesterday. However she didn't have enough time because everyone was talking and the period ended before you know it. It actually felt like half the time we were supposed to get, which is 20 minutes. Each person had a marker and a sock that was used as an eraser. You had to write on your desk with the marker and the sock could easily erase it. Well thats all for today everyone and nice knowing you.

Diary

Hey guys, at school today my class was annoying as usual. The four same girls were always talking over and over again. In Spanish our teacher was really frustrated about having to talk over and over again. After being really mad she talked about her childhood. I don't think that was a good approach because when she was done the class started talking all over again. Apparently she came to the United States at the age of twenty four and started college. At college she could never understand the homework and had to use up four hours of her day in order to finish. Then she got a degree in order to teach and her she is still trying to get her Master's degree.

For PE (gym) today my teacher told us we had to run for 6 minutes and then play two games. While we were running in a circle my heart started hurting. The pain was so much that I fell down and didn't run for one minute. After one minute my teacher recognized me sitting on the floor and told me to run. My heart was still hurting and I just walked for the rest of the 5 minutes. At the end of the 6 minutes my teacher said he was disappointed because of the way we were acting. Already 2 people were in trouble and it was only 6 minutes. Even I feel bad for Mr. Cruz (gym teacher).

When he was done talking we starting our first activity. He told us to get with a partner and since my best friend in the class was with some one else I just waited for someone to be with me. In the end a kid actually said he wanted to be my partner. I cant type his name because I don't know how to spell it. Our activity was to hold arms together and try to move at the same pace as well as the same spots. What I mean is if you were holding someones arm you both would have to move at exactly the same spot. So his foot had to be right next to yours when they land on the ground. My partner and me were the last ones to make it.........

Now I'll just write about to random topics online. So one of the topics I found is what a house would look like in the future. In the future I really hope that houses will not look like what they are right now. It would be cool to have most houses with round curves and not all just square. I mean some houses could be made of circles and others could be all white. Who knows?  They could have amazing designs and function technology into there houses. The doors could be opened by handprint or a card!

My second random topic is a book that turned into a movie, but I am going to switch it around. I am going to write about a book that I want to have a movie on. The book is going to be called Captain Underpants. I know what you're thinking. How could Captain Underpants be a great movie? Well it could. Just imagine a movie animated about Captain Underpants fighting evil. Wait a minute, what if the movie was played by actual people. A guy would be wearing his underwear for almost two hours. Hilarious. Anyway bye guys.

"ONE PUNCH MAN!"

Hey, guys I'm back with another one of my posts. Today I am just going to write about three paragraphs of school and one random topics about me. Does that sound good to you? It sure does for me. At school today I didn't have a good breakfast. You know why, because there was no more milk for my cereal. It was like eating raw meat. Who wants to eat raw meat? Thats why I had 3 gram crackers and a plastic box filled with cereal. At science I was kind of disappointed because our teacher told us that the field trip was not going to be won by the first eight people. Apparently he was going to do something else. If he was doing a race I would definitely win. However I think I have pretty good chance by the way he told me good job and "Have nice day!".

After Science we had ELA. In ELA I was angry about the way my classmates were treating our teacher. He told us that we would get to do the next Spelling Bee today if everyone was good and we didn't waste time. Unfortunately no one in the class listened and we didn't get to start it. At least I was able to finish my classwork and write my personal narrative. For our personal narrative we had to write about a time when we survived something. My brain told me to write about the pool incident where I almost drowned and the stranger saved me.

For math we took a test called " Show what you know". That was really the exact name of the test. Especially since it was only nine questions and the teacher gave us 80 minutes. I don't know my grade for the test, but I do know that after we finished she let us go on a website called soft school and told us to play the games. If your thinking the games were exciting and stuff you have the wrong idea. Anyway when I was finished the game I played was called "Sugar, Sugar". It was really fun because we got to draw a line and make the sugar that falls down reach the cups.

Now I am going to write about one random topics. One random topic is "Whats my favorite Anime?" I know the people who really read this blog, have an idea that Naruto is my favorite, but it actually isn't. Well at least anymore. Right now my favorite anime is actually called "One Punch Man". I don't really know if this anime is already finished or not, but I want to watch it. Its probably one of the only anemia's that I think actually bring out the action and fun. "One punch man" is an anime about a man who can automatically kill almost any monster with one punch. He later finds a an apprentice who wants to measure his skill.

The guys name is actually called "Saitama". He is actually an ordinary human being, but inherits the strength of a nuclear weapon. "Saitama's" secret is that he does one hundred squats, One hundred Push ups, and one hundred sit ups ever day for the past three years. Can you believe that. I wonder if they're is a man in this world that can actually do that. Anyway "Saitama" Later joins an organization to gain respect however the people of this organization laugh at him because he is still an ordinary human being.
