At school there are about at least 10 different people in my class who enjoy watching k-pop but my problem is that the only band that I have been listening to is BTS because I like all of their music. However, there are other bands who I enjoy like one or two of their songs and then forget. BTS's music just seems to please me every time I watch it. So there are two bands that I have been keeping my eyes on for a while (past two days). They are called, "Twice" and "EXO". I've been hearing these bands too many times for me to not check them out because one of my buddies just adores the girl group, "Twice" and is usually spoken about every day even if it's just slightly.
In both groups there are currently 9 girls and there are 9 boys. One is a girl group and another is a boy group. I don't know why, but I k-pop there seems to never have been a girl and boy k-pop together. I guess the members or the companies have all just been so used to the idea that they are scared to revert to a different thought of mind and be creative, fearing the media and fans will either abandon or start to leave hate comments.
Anyways, one thing that I want to say before continuing this post is that I always hate having to spell or say the names of members in K-pop groups because sometimes their names are extremely long. Thankfully, they have less lengthy nicknames that the fans can address them faster and easier. Because even something as the name can prevent a fan from liking a certain member of a group. ow twice is the girl group and they have a hit song that has like 100 million views called, "Baam" and it's a hit.
I already have a favorite member and I'm going to be talking to one fo my friends about this when we come back to school. Unfortunately, I think that only 200 million or 100 million is their highest amount of views. Right now BTS is the most popular k-pop group and their most viewed video has above 600 million views. And the other girl k-pop group which I like called, "Black-pink" only has 4 members but their highest song is 500 million views.
Never mind, I just checked youtube to be sure and Black-pink's most viewed song actually only has one million more views than BTS DNA! Making it the most viewed k-pop video on youtube. Anyways, the point of this point is just so you know that I ma acknowledging other groups besides BTS and Black-Pink, they are the most popular ones so sometimes it's good to go for the less popular ones. Exo's highest viewed video is 86 million just to let you know.
