"The Worst Class Trip Ever"

I am writing today the start of "The Most Class Trip Ever". I'm writing it from the main character's point of view or first person so don't get confused. Anyway lets get started.

"The Worst Class Trip Ever"

A lot of this stuff wouldn't have ever happened if I didn't sit with Matthew Diaz. He has been my best friend since kindergarten, but for the most part he's a total idiot. Back then during grade school, he didn't stand out as much as the rest of the kids because everyone was one. Then as the years progressed he just got more idiotic. However since we are best friends I was stuck with him. Before I get anymore into the story let me introduce myself. My name is Wyatt Palmer and I'm an eighth grader. My parents or more specifically mom,  told me that if I got in major trouble she would kill me. My dad supposedly had better things to do than talk to me at the time.

When I got on the plane with everyone else in my class I really hoped that I would get a chance to sit next to this girl named "Suzana Delgado". She is the hottest girl in our grade and really smart too, but of course I had to get Matt instead of her. While Matt and I were getting to our seats two men (one short and one big) behind us were about to sit down. As they got to their seat Matt got a bit suspicious and curious about those two, and kept on looking at the short guy's bag. Then an old flight attendant walked over to the two men and asked the little one to put his bag under his seat. However the short guy did not want to for some reason.

The two got into a fight, but after the big guy calmed the little one he put his bag under his seat. The thing is, as soon as the flight attendant left the guy grabbed his bag from under his seat and placed it on his lap. Then Matt made some really stupid suggestion that inside the bag was a missile. I can't believe that out of all the things he said, thats how he was gonna start the flight to Washington D.C . Right before I was gonna ask him about what I just said he made another stupid suggestion. "Wait, maybe its not a missile, it could be a bomb!" Matt said. Sometimes I don't get why I'm still his friend. "Of course its not a missile, they would have to go through security first to get here." I said.

It seemed that the big guy behind as was listening to our conversation the whole time because he got out of his seat and glared at us. Then the little guy told him to sit back down. However stupid Matt had to say, "Jeez, maybe it is a missile". Of course, the big guy stood up at us and glared even harder than before, it was pretty scary. After a while I decided to make this flight a bit more interesting. I spent 30 minutes trying to think of a funny joke to say to Suzana. Basically I would get up and ask Suzana where the emergency exit was, then while she was thinking I would say my joke and try to look cool.

I should have thought my plan a bit more thorough because while I was walking towards her  I fell down. This is basically how it went, "Oh my god, Wyatt are you okay?", said Suzana. Then the flight attendant came and asked what was going on. I told her that I was asking where the emergency exit was. Flight attendant, "Why do you need to go to the emergency exit? Are planning on tampering with anything on the plane?", and of course I told her no because why would I. Then I tried to tell Suzana my joke, but the flight attendant wanted to make sure I wasn't lying. In the end I just went back to my seat feeling ashamed and embarrassed.

Spotify

I am having a good day so far. When I first woke up it was around six. I got up and went to my parents bedroom because the light was starting to get brighter. However as soon as I get into the room he told me to get back to bed. So I did, although it took me some time to get back to sleep. I had a really good dream, well it wasn't really one dream. It was a bunch of mixed up dreams combined together. The first one was of my singing my favorite song which is called "Remember the Name". I found this song while I was on my Playstation 4. There is this thing called "Spotify" where you can listen to music while you're playing games and thats what I did.

I looked through a bunch of gaming tracks and then found one that said, "Top 50 best gaming songs". So I clicked it and then looked at individual songs in the track that I could listen to continuously Thats when I saw a song called "Remember the Name" and the picture on top of the name was a bunch of zombies (not actually in the song) so I decided to listen to it. As soon as I heard the first 5 seconds of it, I fell in love with it. Sure the song was released in 2005, but its still so good. I wish they would add that song on "VeVo" so everyone could listen to it, the genre of the song is hip hop/rap in case you wanted to know.

The funny thing was, in my dream I was singing the song inside of a game. So like I was in a virtual reality world. It was so cool. It felt so real, you ever have that feeling where you dream something and it feels like it really happened, like I love that. The sad part is when you engage yourself back in reality (real world) you realize nothing ever happened.

When I woke up again it was seven and bright outside. My dad and sister were already downstairs so I did the same thing. For some reason I felt really tired. I think it was because I slept at 9:00 yesterday. Now that I say that I feel pretty embarrassed because most kids sleep at 11:00 or 10:00. As soon as my sister finished brushing her teeth I brushed mine, but before that I went into another room and checked my teeth in the mirror. This way I know what areas are dirtier than others. Also because the light in the bathroom is yellow so if I don't brush good its still gonna make it seem like my teeth is perfect.

For breakfast my sister had cereal while I had eggs and bread. From now on I will always have eggs and bread if it's a choice, No doubt about it. However there wasn't a lot of egg in this one than the last time I had it so that might change my decision a little bit. The book that I started reading today is called "The Worst Class Trip ever" and I will be writing about it the next post I make. It is a really great book and I am almost finished with it. Do you have any books that you would recommend to me so I could read them. Let me know in the comments. Anyway thanks for reading.

PARCC.........NO!

This morning I woke up at 6:00 P.M and went downstairs. Later on my sister came while I was watching TV. After that the both of us changed our clothes and brushed our teeth. I had some trouble putting my shirt on, when I got it on my sister was making cereal in the kitchen. For cereal the both of us chose Cinnamon Toast Crunch and Frosted Flakes. Its a really good combination. For some reason I always like to leave my cereal alone for 15 minutes because when I start eating it the cereal becomes soggy. Then its easier and faster to eat. Then again, I just waited 15 minutes for the cereal to even get soggy so thats a waste.

When I got to my bus stop I pulled out two papers from my book pack. The two papers had drawings of Jordans that I drew the night before. I really liked them and wanted to put them on my school locker. There both the same Jordans, but the first one had color while the second one didn't. As soon as the bus came I ran straight to it and got on. Waiting for me were two of my friends, Paljor and Jadan. We were talking about how was horrible at his soccer game and the PARCC. The PARCC is a test that is taken all around the world. It is tells you how much better you did than other kids around the world and tells your teacher what you've learned.

As soon as I got to class there were only 10 minutes left before we had to leave for first period because my bus is always late. So I had my breakfast (school gives free breakfast) and looked in my locker to see if I missed anything. Fortunately I didn't so I sharpened my pencils and got ready for my first class. My first class was actually in my homeroom because my teacher is the Science teacher. Today during science we watched a video about seedless plants and then worked on a paper that was due at the end of class. If you didn't finish it the teacher told you to take it home, fortunately I did.

After Science I had Social Studies. For Social Studies my teacher said that we were going to be working in groups on a project. I didn't really like my group, but I was happy that at least I was able to start it with them. Each group got one religion that they had to work on, my group got Hinduism even though I really wanted Buddhism (my religion). The leader in my group told each kid what they were going to be working on and I was left with answering two worksheets because I went to the bathroom. Instead of working on the sheets I really wanted to do the poster, but didn't get picked for that.

Now it was time for the PARCC. I honestly don't like the PARCC because it is practically two hours and only 13 questions are on the part that I am taking. When I got into the computer lab to take the test I saw that there were a bunch of computers. Way too much for one class. Then I realized that we were going to take the test with another one of the 6th grade classes. Then my teacher started a timer for 110 minutes. For 13 questions I feel like that is a bit excessive, but its not like anything I say will change the school's decision to make the time any shorter. As soon as the timer started I logged on t the computer and the test. Then I started taking it.

After I finished the test the first thing I did was ask to go to the bathroom because I really had to go. For Lunch the school gave everyone pizza because it was Friday. No one in the whole grade or a matter of fact school likes that pizza. It is the worst pizza ever. Its not even triangle, the pizza is square and the cheese is very bad, probably expired. During recess I played soccer with my friends and it was really fun. We had to keep the ball for touching the ground completely so every time it bounced someone had to kick it up again. With so many people playing the game it was hard to even find the ball at times.

When I got to my class for dismissal my friends were on their ruby cubes. Since I didn't own one I asked to use one of theirs and was able to solve the white side. Then I taped my drawings onto my locker. When I did it one of the kids in my class really liked it. My teacher told my class to have a great weekend even though it didn't end in a very good mood. One of the girls in my class was fighting with a boy in front of her. I just can't take my class sometimes. On my bus home I asked my bus attendant if I could got sit with my friends, but she said no so I just slept the whole bus drive. THE END

My Land and My People Chapter 12

Chapter 12

Although the Dalai Lama (spiritual leader) was young and strong, the rest of his companions (monks and friends) started to get feel the effects of the seemingly everlasting journey because they were old. While they were walking the Dalai Lama had the chance to meet up with some more of the Khampa leaders and talk to them about what they were doing. He didn't tell them to stop fighting because besides his beliefs in Buddhism the Dalai Lama knew that the Khampas (People who want to defend Tibet) weren't doing this because they wanted to. They were doing it because it was for Tibet and all the people living in it. More personally he thanked them because they were fighting for the him.

Like he (Dalai Lama) said before, they had nothing else to do except fight because they already sacrificed their families, homes, and cities. Before The Dalai Lama left he told them that the Chinese were planning on attacking their base and that they should only use violence when defending it (place where they all live). Other monks and officials at the place they stopped were planning on meeting the Dalai Lama but since he had to go in case of any Chinese cutting them off they never got the chance to. A little later in the day the whole group stopped in a monastery so that they could rest.

When the next morning came they started the long journey again. By the time they were tired a place called "E-Chhudhogyang" was in their way. This place is known by almost everyone in Tibet and it so popular it even has its own proverb, " It is better to born and animal with food and water than to be born in this place". Thats right, "E-Chhudhogyang" has barely anyone living in it. Sand storms and wind are very abundant in this area and no one likes it. At least he got to see the faces of the civilians and living there. They gave their whole house just for him to stay one night and all his companions and family as well.

As soon as they left the first thing the Dalai Lama did was send two lay officials to go to the Indian border. There they would ask wether or not they could cross the border. After a few hours the Dalai Lama and his group started the journey. They had to go through the freezing mountains of the Himalayas. The monks who had grown mustaches throughout the journey found out they were frozen and the little kids started to cry (Dalai Lama's family). Most of their eyebrows were frozen and almost all off them had frost bite. That was one of the reasons why their journey took so long.

The next morning everyone stopped and had food. It was bread, hot water, and some milk, to them it sure was good. Then when everyone was done eating they continued to walk on. Suddenly everyone stopped because they heard a sound. It was an aircraft! Everyone tried to hide wherever they could. The aircraft passed so quickly that no one saw what type of aircraft it was. What type of aircraft was that? It must have been the Chinese looking for the Dalai Lama. After someone said the cost was clear everyone continued. After a while the snow stopped falling down and it wasn't cold anymore. Then out of nowhere, the two lay officials came back and delivered the good news. The Indian Government said that the Dalai Lama could pass.

Anyway thats all for today, see you next time.

My Land and My People Chapter 11

Chapter 11

Now it was time for the Dalai Lama to escape. He knew that the people were going to keep on trapping him and preventing him to go to the Chinese camp even if he told them that he wasn't going. That is why decided to leave secretly with telling him. He informed all of hi closest and more trustworthy friends to come with him. This included the Cabinet, fellow monks, officials, and of course his own family. Along with the group soldiers or the "Khampas" would help him escape (these peopler from the Dalai Lama's homeland and it is said that a Khampa never goes out without a rifle as a sign of strength). They respected the Dalai Lama and would do whatever he says.

The Dalai Lama couldn't tell them to stop fighting anymore because they had already sacrificed their family and friends to make it this far. Besides that eh also admired them for their courage and bravery to try defend Tibet from China.  So the Dalai Lama tried to gather as much stuff as he could which wasn't a lot. Only two robes or (spare clothes). The others grabbed food and clothes of their own to use. There was no time to go into the Monastery's treasury and get any of the jewels that the Dalai Lama had inherited because they were to leave immediately. When everyone was ready they quietly headed toward the gate and passed through it.

After everyone got through they started walking on the road towards India. A few minutes after they left the gate a group of soldiers were walking towards them. At first we were worried on who they were, but as we looked closer we realized they were part of the Khampas (by the way I didn't mention this but the Khampas are also the ones who are fighting the Chinese and have basically turned into guerrillas. Bunches of people in Lhasa and other towns joined them in order to fight off the Chinese and they have already been a few battles with the Chinese). Then they all stopped and one of them spoke with a monk. Then the monk told the Dalai Lama that he was one of the Khampa's leaders and it was a great honor to meet him.

Then the Khampa Leader went over to him and told the Dalai Lama something he never expected. The Chinese have already warned the Dalai Lama that they would attack "Norbulingka" (place where the Dalai Lama was before) if the people continued to block you and barricade the road to China. I guess they weren't living because the Chinese bombed the whole area. When they found out that the Dalai Lama wasn't there they realized that he had escaped. Now the Dalai Lama was worried. What would happen to his group and the soldiers if the Chinese found them. Obviously they didn't care if they killed him because they bombed the whole place without asking him to leave.

Well thats it for today's post. Yesterday I already wrote about chapter 10 in "My Land and My People". Just so you know the Dalai Lama in this one is the 14th. Right now the current Dalai Lama is the 15th. I think that almost every single Dalai Lama that lives a long life writes a story about it. The reason I say long life is because some Dalai Lama's didn't last as long as they had hoped to, lets just say that.  I just don't get why they don't say the name of the Dalai Lama if if he is the author of the book. It literally says "The Dalai Lama" right after the title of the book. I guess its not really a big issue because you can just go on the internet and search that up. Anyway thats all for today's post. See you next time.

"My Land and My People" Chapter 10

Today I continued to read "My Land and My People" and I really like it. Everyday I read two chapters and today it was chapter 10 and 11. Chapter 10 was called "Crisis In Lhasa" and Chapter 11 was called "Escape". Just by reading these two chapters you should be able to predict that something back is happening, sort of like an uprising. Like when the slaves of Egypt (Hebrews) went with Moses and were able to overthrow the kingdom? Sort of like that. Okay now I'm going to summarize these two chapters. I'm doing this because I feel like its good for people to learn new things and events that happened in the past about certain cultures or religions. Anyway lets start with Chapter 9.

Chapter 10

The Dalai Lama (Spiritual Leader) was attending the Monlam Festival because it was a very special celebration. While he was there two Chinese officers went up to him. They said that "General Tan Kuan-sen" had sent them to ask the him something. So the Dalai Lama asked what they needed and they said that the general wanted to know wether he could attend a play that his army camp was making. The Dalai Lama didn't know wether he could go or not because of everything that has already happened so he said he would give an answer later on. However the two officers said they needed an answer right away.

So the Dalai Lama kept on saying no, but they wouldn't leave. Eventually though the next event at the festival started and the two officers left. As soon as they did he was curious. Why would the general send two officers to ask him something? This is very unusual because he almost always meets the Dalai Lama face to face in order to say or ask something. The annoyance of the tow officers bothered the Lama a little bit, but he was able to sustain it and take part in the festival. Once it was over the Dalai Lama had gotten a telegram from the general's interpreter and was asked when he could attend.

The Dalai Lama replied saying that he would come on the 10th of March. Unfortunately news spreads fast and the Tibetan people who considered the Dalai Lama to be precious and sacred were alarmed. They knew that it was strange how two officers were sent to ask one question and knew that the Chinese have lured certain lamas to the country and killed them as well as imprisoned them. They would not let their sacred lama have his life be taken away from something so evil. Thats why all the people of the city and state went to the place where the Dalai Lama was staying and blocked all the exits.

They adored their leader and made sure of his protection. Thats when a patrol of Chinese officers came they were brutally murdered by the people. The Dalai Lama tried to speak to the leaders of the people who were elected to give the decisions and told them that they needed to stop right away. They agreed with him because they followed him and respected his ever decision. However when the people were informed with what the Dalai Lama had said they would listen. They were apparently sure that if he went to that Chinese Army camp he would be murdered. It was like a death trap to them. The Chinese even assured that he would not be harmed in any way.

Thats it for today guys. Next time I will summarize chapter 11.

Numbers!

Right now my mom is sleeping in her bed and my dad and sister are about to go outside for some type of car inspection. While they do that I'm here typing on the computer. Well I just wanted to let you know that. Anyway at this time it is 10:11 A.M and I woke up at 6:36 A.M with my dad in the house. So I'm going to talk about everything that has happened between those two time periods (since nothing really happened I am going to put everything to the littlest detail). This morning woke up and checked to see if my dad was there. Once I knew that he was there I went back to my bed and slept for another 30 minutes. I was having a really good dream. It was about how I won this competition at school.
After 30 minutes I woke up again to the sound of birds chirping outside. It really was elegant and almost a continuous rhythm with so many beats. With that being said I headed over to my sister's bed and started to tickle her. Then she started laughing which let me know that she woke up a few minutes ago and pretended to sleep when I got up. The two of us opened our dad's door and saw that he was on his phone. So the both of us sat on the bed and looked at a bunch of videos in his phone. Some were about North Korea and the United States not being good allies. Another was about how police in India were treating the civilians like trash. It was pretty heartbreaking.
As soon as the time on my dad's phone hit 8:00 I went downstairs and brushed my teeth. When I finished brushing my teeth my sister started to brush her's and then called my dad downstairs to make breakfast. For breakfast the three of us had oatmeal. I was reading my book "My Land and My People" while my dad was making it so when I saw the coconut milk on the table I was worried, worried because I didn't know wether or not I would like the oatmeal. Then I took my first spoonful and ate it, it was pretty good. After the three of us finished I asked my dad if the thought the coconut milk was good and he replied with "Yeah, you should try it".
That got me really confused because I thought I was already drinking it with the oatmeal. Then he told me the milk in my oatmeal was whole milk because he knew I wouldn't like it. Now this made me feel pretty stupid because I really thought I found out something new today, that I like coconut milk. When breakfast was over I continued reading "My Land and My People". I really do think it is an extraordinary book that talks about the rich and significant culture of the Tibetan people. Unfortunately barely anyone in the world who is not Tibetan know we even exist. The thing that most kids or even adults know about us is that on the map it says "Tibetan Plateau" right next to the big bold letters of "CHINA".
While I was reading my dad went outside and started to clean the car because of the inspection thing that I talked about before. While he was doing that my sister had to tell me that she washed the car ten times with my dad and I did it once (I never asked her). Then I said that I washed it 20 times and she said 25 times. After that we just said random numbers that were way too high. She started saying stupid numbers like "Trillion Billion Gazillion times". Sure those are all numbers but you can't combine all of them together! She even said infinity times!  Infinity is not a number for christ sake! Huh, okay calm down.......... Thats pretty much all I did today because after I  finished reading I started typing. Okay see you next time!

My Land and My People

For the past few days I've been reading a book called "My Land and My People". I already finished "Red Star Over Tibet" and that was a pretty good book. Both of these books are pretty much the same thing. "My Land and My People" is first person and "Red Star Over Tibet" is the same thing. Besides that the both of them take place in Asia and particularly "Tibet". Like I said before, my dad says that its around my age that kids start learning about their country. I agree with that for the most part. Anyway I want to summarize what the first two chapters of the book are about.
A boy (the book doesn't say the name for some reason) was born in a small village called "Takster". He was born on the Wood Hog year, May 5th, 1935. His group of people which live on the eastern part of Tibet were called "Khampas". There were so many crops and beautiful flowers blooming everywhere. The plates was surrounded by tress and thick bushes and grass. On the south side of "Takster" there was a mountain called "Ami-Churi" and the local people call it "The mountain that pierces the Sky". The lower part of it is covered with grass in all directions. However on the higher parts of the mountain the rocks were bare and a patch of snow on the top never melted.
The farming community of "Takster" had lots of surplus because of good harvest. The food consisted of buttered tea called "Chhang" to actual meat called "Tsampa". The Surplus was sued for stuff like tea and sugar to make more food and also metal utensils like forks and pans. The women of "Takster" loved their jewelry like every other girl in the world. The men weren't really into that stuff, they wore fur caps and belts that hung up to their waist. There were many monasteries and temples all over Tibet and they were for people who prayed or offered blessings. It was a place for monks and almost every type of family would use all their remaining money for religious duty. Ranging from the rich to the poor.
One day in the village of "Takster" two highly respected monks came to the boy's house. Before this the thirteenth Dalai Lama (Spiritual leader) died and everyone cried and paid their respects. He was very important and special to  them. However as soon as he died a bunch of monks scattered all over Tibet to try and find his reincarnation (next life). Because there was no spiritual leader to lead them because they were searching a regent was appointed as the leader until they found the Dalai Lama's reincarnation. The regent had a vision and told all the monks where the Dalai Lama's reincarnation would be and it all leaded to "Takster".

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

That was a summary of chapter 1 and 2. Hoped you like it. I'm on chapter 9 right  now because I already finished my two chapters today. The Dalai Lama is the spiritual leader of Tibet and everyone wanted his blessings. Another fun fact. Tibetan people follow Buddhism and in Buddhism it is said to not kill animals or living things. However the human body needs meat in order to survive because of protein. Thats why there are certain people who kill animals just because of the meat, they are called butchers. the religion says that as long as you don't kill the animal you can eat it so they buy meat forms the butchers. Unfortunately for the butchers they are continuously called "sinners" just because they make the meat. Thats all for today and see you later.

Uprising!

For this post I am going to talk about what I did so far today. When I woke up I saw that that my mom was sleeping with my little sister on her bed. The two of them were really quiet so I just went asleep again. After about 5 hours later I got up and checked the windows. It was bright outside. In the Winter the sky would always turn bright at 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. Sometimes there wouldn't be any light at all because all the clouds would be blocking it. However now that its Spring the sky gets bright pretty early. Then I headed to my parent's bedroom to see if anyone was there and sure enough my mom was sleeping there. She must've gotten out of my sister's bed in the middle of the night.
When I told her to wake ups and make breakfast she just said yes and then went back to sleep. I continued telling her to wake up and sooner or later she told that she'll be in the kitchen making the breakfast in 10 minutes. Then I waited until after 10 minutes and headed back upstairs. She was still in the bed sleeping so I just went downstairs and watched TV. After about 15 minutes I heard someone coming downstairs and found out she got out of bed. This gave me relief as she asked me what I wanted. I told her bread and eggs, she also asked my sister and in the end we both agreed and she made eggs and bread.
The breakfast really was so good. I wanted it so badly, but she had no more eggs. Thats why I drank milk with the bread and it was even better! Finally when I finished the breakfast it was time for me to do my homework. My homework was to read two chapters in a book called "My Land And My People". I did like the first two chapters but after that the book started getting boring. It was all just facts and not enough story into it. When I finished that my dad came home. He didn't even ask me questions because since the weather was so nice he wanted me to go to the park with my sister. While I was putting my clothes on my sister left me because she already finished and it took me some time to find my clothes.
When I finally found them my sister came back and told me that the park was closed. I couldn't believe that I wasted all my time for nothing. Then my dad wanted to drop me and my sister to Lincoln Park and we walked over there. I wanted to wear a sweater, but he wouldn't let me and besides......it was pretty dirty. When we got to the park the first thing I did was run to the playground with my sister. My dad told us he was going to do jogging and starting running. When I got to the playground there were so many people. I couldn't find any of my friends so I just played tag with my sister. In the end we had lots of fun and I even went on the swings.
While I was walking home with my dad and sister from the park I saw one of my friends with his father eating Chinese food in a car. He looked pretty happy and showed me a new game his father got for him. Back home, my dad gave all three of us ice cream and then told me that I could use my PS4. My sister used his phone and he used the computer. When I got on PS4 the first thing I did was start my game and get in a party with my friends. All of us were talking about how we met each other or about school. It was really fun. One of my friends just started the game so I have to help him level up. Anyway then my dad told me to get off after 2 hours and told me to write because he thought I already did. Thats why I'm writing this. See you later!

Time (2)

"What do you want to do first?" I said. "Well how about the two of us go to a bar and continue our conversation?" Carver said. "Sure" I said, and the two of us drove in my car to the bar. While we were driving he told me that there was something he needed to do after we got to the bar and finished our conversation. He didn't want me to follow him or stalk him. You know as a father thats kind of hard to do, but since he was above 18 I decided to listen to him (We got to the bar while talking about this). While the two of us were drinking and laughing I wanted to know more about what he was going to do, so I asked him how he was going to do anything without money and he replied there was some money left over in his bank account.
As soon as he said that I let the bar thinking he was going to be fine and nothing big was happening, boy was I wrong. When I got home the only thing I did was watch TV and wait for him to come home. 5 minutes later I got a text message from him saying that he needed my help for something. So I texted back asking "what do you need help with?", and he texted back with "Just Come!". This really confused me. What could he be needing help with? Its only been 2 hours since his release for prison. Then I got worried. What if it was something big? Could I even do anything? The questions I was asking myself were endless. I was so paranoid.
Thats when I stopped questioning myself and got into the car. He messaged me the coordinates to his destination and I drove there. I already wasted enough time worrying about whats going to happen, might as well just do it. When I arrived at the destination I didn't see a single person in sight. Then out of nowhere a gun shot fired and I hid behind my car. This could really be serious I thought. When I thought the coast was clear I peeked a bit under the car and saw Carver on the floor! He looked like he was dead, but then he opened his eyes and got up. Then I whispered to him "Carver......Whats happening.......". He looked at me and then walked over. What'll happen next?

Did you guys like my story called "TIME"? Tell me in the comment section. Well anyway now that I finished that I still have two more paragraphs left to write on so lets keep on going. Yesterday I was playing my favorite game "Overwatch" and it was really fun hanging out with my friends in a group and playing together. I liked it so much. While I was playing "Overwatch" I remembered the update. There was an update on the game based on the comic that the  company made called "Uprising" and it is super cool and fun. Basically there's this new game mode which you can play with a group of 4 people and fight bots to move the payload to the checkpoint.

After I finished playing my game my dad told my sister to tell me that I had to go to park. I really hated it so much but I still had to go so I grabbed some water and walked to the park. When I got the park only a few of my friends were there but I still had fun. We played dodgeball and all of my friends had a tournament to see who was the best. Fortunately I won because I threw my ball at the gate and it bounced and hit him. I was so happy!

Time

I'm so excited because Spring break is almost here for me and all the kids in Jersey City. It starts on Friday and I get 12 days off (including weekends). I do feel bad for all of the parents and adults because just because its Spring Break they don't get to slack off or relax and stay with their kids. They have to keep on working to pay the bills and get money to buy what they want and need. Anyway I've decided write a story today instead of talking about what I did today. Its going to be called " Time". Just so you know, the story will be in First person. Are you ready? Then lets start this story because my fingers are aching to type.

TIME

..........and thats how I had the time of my life with my son Carver. Oh you don't know what I'm talking about. Well then let me start from the very beginning, when it all started. My son was put in jail the age of 15 for hiding marijuana. I was very disappointed in him and though he knew better. However during those prison years I never went to the prison to talk to him or explain how I felt. During that time I wasn't rich so I could just bail him out. I had to work very hard and by the time I had enough money it was 5 years since he was declared a prisoner. It was time for me to meet him and see if he changed.

When I got to the prison a guard accompanied me to his cell and I asked him what he said. "I think that Carver has become a lot matured and has changed a lot since his first day in his cell" said the guard. When the guard showed me his cell it was empty. He said that it was his mistake and that the prisoners were eating lunch. Then he informed me to sit in the talking booth and wait for him to get Carver. So I waited in the talking booth and started to get a bit worried. What should I say or why did I come anyway? But before I could talk my way out of coming here the guard came back and this time with a man in a mask.

When he left the man pulled the mask from his face. "Calvin! Oh how nice to meet you, I'm so sorry for not coming a lot earlier, but I didn't have enough money to get you out of here. I hope you can forgive me.". Carver didn't reply. He just smirked and then started slamming his head on the wall. Then the guards came in the room and started to tied Carver up so he couldn't do it anymore. Then after they left Carver wasn't smirking anymore. No he looked a lot angrier. Then after a few minutes of his angry expression he started laughing and said "Did I get you? Sorry I just wanted to see how you would react!".

Then I started chuckling and we both got into a conversation. "So hows life her in the prison?" I said. "Well at first I hated it, but then I made some friends and started to play basketball on the court." Carver replied. Then we switched the conversation to what I was doing so far. After a while I bailed him out and the tow of us got into my car. So what do you want to do first?" I said. "I want to spend time with you because I know  life is short so we don't have a lot of it" He said. "Well you know something? I want to spend lots of time with you before we separate. Sound good?" I said. "I have all the time in the world......."

Pacer Test!

During school today I had a really fun time. When I got on my bus all the other kids had their projects. Since you don't know what I'm talking about our Science teacher assigned each student a project about cells. I made mine out of clay because I couldn't find styrofoam for my original idea. The other kids used legos and styrofoam. Some of them made edible ones like cake. I'll talk more about that later on. When I got to school the first thing I did was head to my class and place my project the back table. Then I ate my breakfast and took off my sweater. My first class was ELA and to be frank it was pretty boring.
After ELA I had Social Studies, we were given an outline by our teacher to complete while he was putting the answers on the board. Then we watched a video about India's history. It was on "Flocabulary". A really good website that takes a subject or topic and turns it into a rhyme while explaining it. The unfortunate thing was that everyone was talking and we had to continuously pause the video over and over again. That took up about 20% of the class. It was getting so annoying that I just used the bathroom and when I came back everyone was quiet and listening to the teacher. He must've done something to stop them.
When Social Studies was done I had Gym and for Gym we were running laps. That was actually just the practice. Then when the practice or warm up was over our teacher said we were going to be practicing the Pacer Test. We had to pick a partner and they would run with us. It was actually really great and my friend and I maxed the test out. It was so easy. Though my leg was actually starting to hurt. Then when we were done the next group of partners had to do their test and in the end we were the only ones who maxed it out without making a mistake.
After Gym was Math. When my class got to Math we had to put our bookracks in the back and take out whatever we needed for class. Then everyone was supposed to head to the front of the class where she picked new seats. Even though I didn't like my seat at least I did well during Math. We were just reviewing our quizzes which by the way I got a hundred on, and then we also got to use expo markers and write on our desks. The reason she let us do it is because she thought that we could handle it and I wanted to show her that we deserve it, but the class was so bad that she had to take them away and then we worked on our books until class was over.
The last class that I had was Science. The teacher said that we were supposed to grab our book bags and jackets because we were going into the Science Lab. When we got their our teacher said that he wanted all the kids who's projects were edible to go first because then we could eat it when we were done. My friend "Khalifa" had an edible project and got a 100%, but his cake melted so we couldn't eat it and since he didn't want to take it we had to throw it in the garbage. I wasn't able to present because mine wasn't edible. However tomorrow I am going to present. Wish me good luck.

Red Star Over Tibet

For today's post I'm going to talk about what I did today, so far. Its only 8:25 A.M right now while I'm typing this so don't expect too much. 50% of this is going to be about a book I read today. Anyway lets get started. When I woke up my sister wasn't in her bed and the time was 7:00 A.M. Thats when I went to my parents's bedroom and my dad and sister were talking to each other and laughing. You know, as a kid I had to be jealous because one kid shouldn't just go off and have fun with the parents while the other never knew anything was happening. So I joined in the conversation until I went downstairs.
I went downstairs because my dad just went to sleep. WhenI reached the kitchen the first thing I did was head to the bathroom and start brushing my teeth. Then I did my hair as usual, after that my sister started brushing her teeth as well. She doesn't like the both of us brushing our teeth together because she fears I might spit on her by accident or something like that. When she finished we started talking about what we were going to do today and then started our homework. The earlier we do it, the more time we have later to do whatever we want.
For homework I always start reading first, so the book I read was called "Red Star Over Tibet". I've mentioned this book before, but didn't explain what it was about and the author, so thats exactly what I'm going to do today. I already read 16 chapters in total, but I'm going to only talk about the chapter I read today. Basically this book is about how Tibet (my country) was taken over by China. Thats why the title is called "Red Star Over Tibet". China's flag has star in it and red is it's main color. The book goes through the life of a family who experienced all of China's revolt and everything else.
On the chapter I read today it talks about how the family has just reached India. Before they escaped from Tibet in search of life in which they could make their decisions and pray for whoever they wish in India. However India wasn't exactly how they had hoped it would be. When they first even tried to get inside one of the Indian guards told them he wanted money. Like seriously who would do that? The first thing they did when they reached India was get news form an old man, a representative of the Sakya Lama (Spiritual leader). He said that the Sakya Lama told him tot ell us that Tibet would soon be free and back to the way it was.
That news got everyone in the family excited. Then two Tibetans who came from a city in India told them that their was work in the city. He told them with the money given as payment they could buy whatever they wanted to bring back home to Tibet once it was free again from Chinese rule. That everyone happy as well and they all headed straight for it. While the Tibetans and the family were doing their work the summer started and everyone got uncomfortable. The Tibetans were used to the cold climate of the mountains. Thats why they headed to a city in India that was colder yes for people who were rich and one of the kids got an education there.

McDonalds

For today's post I am going to write about what I did yesterday. Yesterday was Friday and I know that everyone loves Friday. Its one of the best days of the week because you know that the next day is Saturday! Wait, but doesn't that mean Saturday is the best day of the week. Never mind, right now we are going to talk about what I did on Friday. At Friday I had school and it was okay. My first class was Science and all we did was finish an outline from the day before (Thursday). After that I had Social Studies, Social Studies was my favorite class of the day because we were going to talk about Buddhism and Hinduism (my religion).

During Social Studies I told my teacher that I followed that religion and he said that it was great to have a buddhist in our class because then we could learn more about it. That made me feel pretty great. The first thing we did in that class though was go to page 362 in our textbook. On page 362 there were 8 important people that we were going to talk about in the chapter. Th teacher said that we had to pick one of them and write some important facts about them. You could either write facts that you know about them or you could just get facts from the textbook. I chose the "Buddha" or "Siddhartha Gautama".

After Social Studies my next class was Gym. At Gym there were 3 stations that we were able to pick from and my teacher put us in three groups. Luckily at least one of friends was in my group. The first station was an obstacle course. We had to jump pass two box looking things and then do three hurdles. After that we just ran to the end of the line. The second station was Scooter tag. Whoever picked the orange scooter would be it and everyone at run. It was pretty fun until my friend and I were the only one's actually playing. The third and final station was hula hoops and since I knew how to hula hoop it was easy.

Since nothing else really exciting or interesting that I think you should know happened yesterday I want to talk about what I have done so far today. I woke up at 7:30 A.M and it was actually really bright. I went downstairs because my dad was on his phone in his bed and my sister was sleeping. When I got downstairs the first thing I did was do my hair and then brush my teeth. I didn't really need to brush my hair because I just got a haircut yesterday and it is pretty short. Then I started to do my homework, my homework for today is reading and typing 5 paragraphs.

When my dad came downstairs he started to brush his teeth and do his hair as well. My sister did the exact same thing as the both of us. With that being said my dad wanted to take all there of us to breakfast outside and we agreed to go to McDonalds. When we got to McDonalds I saw a machine and realized it was that thing tat let you choose whatever you wanted and pay for it with your credit card. However this thing would eliminate jobs for people who need the money and deserve it. Though it was pretty cool. Well thats all I did today. Bye now.

Lincoln Park

For today’s post I am going to talk about what I did yesterday. Yesterday I woke up and heard my aunt in the kitchen. When I went downstairs she was just about to leave so I said goodbye to her. After that I woke up my sister and the two of us had breakfast. For breakfast the two of us had cereal. She got Cinnamon Toast Crunch and I got Chocolate Pebbles. It was really good. When it was 12:00 A.M me and my sister stopped watching TV. Then the both of us went to the playroom and started to do our homework. The both of us were doing our reading. She only had to read 4 chapters while I had to read two chapters of a book called, "Red Star Over Tibet".
When the two of us finished reading she continued to watch TV. I had to do my writing homework. After that I joined her in the living room and the both of us were watching the show on the TV. The reason I wasn't using my PS4 was because something happened to my house's internet and my family couldn't use the wifi. The show that we were watching was on Disney because my sister didn't like any other channels. Thats when I got an idea. Since I couldn't get to do something that I wanted by myself, maybe I could trick me sister in letting me use my PS4.
So I stuck with the plan and it actually worked. I turned on my PS4 and played a game called "Naruto Shippuden: Ninja Storm 4". The game that I played didn't require any internet to play so I decided to use it. All I did was simply hand my sister the controller and we starting playing against each other. I continuously beat her at ever character and sooner or later she just raged and gave up. However I still continued to play the game because I really did like it.  The anime is amazing and I don't care wether or not my friends think its trash.
When my dad got home I showed him my homework and so did my sister. He approved that the both of us did it and we headed to the living room to watch TV (not play the game). He wanted to watch a show called "Fast N Loud", but after a few minutes he just moved on to the next channel until I told him to go to the movie section. Then we started taking little looks at ever movie until I told him to watch "X-Men Apocalypse". I didn't watch the movie yet and even though I'm not a huge fan of superheroes I wanted to see it because it was the only new and modern movie.
After about 15 minutes of the movie I asked my da if we could go to Lincoln Park and he said yes. However we weren't going in the car to get there, we had to walk. Because of this I asked him if we could grab our scooters and he said yes. While we were headed to the park my sister and me had little races on our scooters. I had to go slower because my scooter was bigger so it would go faster and she was slow either way. When we got to the park it was open, but there weren't a lot of people there.
Thats when I decided to go on the Monkey bars. I loved the Monkey bars, it was just so fun and it proved if you could hold yourself. Getting through the Monkey bars to the other side is a challenge to some people so I like to do it. Besides that I also learned to how to climb it and reach the top. It was a bit scary though once I got up because the ground seemed so far away. Then I grabbed the handle and jumped down. I didn't want to do the obstacle course that me and my sister did last time because I had Jordans on and I didn't want to ruin them more than I already have. Finally my dad wanted to go home and the three of us relaxed.

Dream shoes

This weekend was like an epic study moment session where I just spent all of my time just practicing for the ELA EOY, the Math EOY, and the...
