Diary: Fitness day

Dear diary

After a bit of thinking I have decided to start working since that’s probably one of the only ways to get in good physical shape so I can pass my Fitness Test in 8th Grade and hopefully lose some weight. Now I now that I’m not overweight compared to a lot of kids in my school but it’s still good to try. Before writing about this today I’ve been saying stuff like, “I’ll definitely work out and get ripped abs” but obviously that hasn’t happened. Yesterday was probably the first time I actually finished my workout. I ran 3 miles and lost about 800 calories before coming back home and doing some sit-ups. But I know for a fact that just doing running and setups isn’t going to do anything. The only way to get results is by watching what I eat more carefully and focusing on all sections of my body. Not just the chest, but the legs (or thighs) and arms. From now on, I will not go to McDonalds unless it’s a dire need and run more often.

Anyway, that was just a quick little speech about what I plan on doing starting from yesterday. Of course my rounded shoulders are a problem but the only way to really fix that is if I go to therapy or the gym since walking around and trying to stand straight just really hurts. Besides, it’s become too much of a habit now and the process of changing it will take time. The main reason I want to fix this unhealthy bending spine of mine is because when I get older it will start to get even worse. Until eventually it will become permanent and I will be in even worse shape then other people who are older than me (right now I’m actually holding my shoulders straight and it hurts a little bit, but I can start to feel that eventually the pain lessens). Yesterday my dad was cleaning the area where this computer is and I took the chance to try this new technique on Youtube.

Although the guy only showed it on a laptop I can still try, so basically your supposed to put a stack of books under the laptop but since I have a computer I just out it under the keyboard. Then you need to have a pillow on your chair right behind your back (not your butt). That way you can relax on the pillow if it hurts too much. Now the idea is that since the laptop or in my case the keyboard is higher you will need to stand straighter in order to type because if your being down you wouldn’t be able to reach it. You see, most people have their laptops on the table but because they are taller than the laptop they need to bend down in order to touch it and feel comfortable. This fights the need to bend down and helps with your round shoulders as well. At least I don’t have scoliosis, but the one thing I’m curious about is how one of my shoulders is higher than the other because that’s what my dad and nurse told me. That’s it for today’s post, until next time!

Book: summery Zombie chaser

Now I’ll continue talking about what I read yesterday. So yesterday I left off on how Jack was able to hear Quint’s voice through the walkie talkie that he fixed. Thats why Jack grabbed his weapon which by the way was a broken baseball bat, and headed off toward’s Quint’s house. He made it almost halfway by walking through people’s backyards. However his luck was about to run out. Since their weren’t anymore backyards Jack saw two choices. A football field or a narrow road. He knew both ways are bad, but chose the football field because it had more space.

All of a sudden while running through the field a giant mutant zombie slammed onto the ground. Even worse, so did another mutant zombie. Jack Sullivan was cornered by two mutants. They were called “Dozers”. Fortunately for him something shot right through one of the Dozer’s heads. It was a baseball. Then Jack turned to the direction of where it came from and saw a boy. Quint! Jack and Quint ran as fast they could to Quint’s house. When they got there Quint showed Jack his room. It was full of all types of gadgets!

Then Jack told Quint about the tree house that he made. That gave Quint an amazing idea. He grabbed all of his gear and walked with Jack towards the tree house. By the time they got there Quint had already made a bunch of new inventions and was preparing to put them on the tree house. After that Jack headed out to get some gas for the tree house. For stuff like phones and games, or microwaves and TVs. They didn’t need electricity I guess. Also Quint brought a car from his house that had all types of gadgets around it so they needed fuel to make it useful.

Suddenly he saw another boy. Except he was bulkier and not zombified. It was one of his old school bullies. The name was Dirk Savage, but lets call him Dirk. He helped save Jack from one of the mutant creatures and killed it. Then with Jack’s persuasion Dirk joined Quint and him. He showed the way back to the tree house for Dirk and the both of them got ready to go out again. You see Quint said he need supplies from Home Depot so he could make something for “Beast”. The reason I said “Beast”was because the day before Jack found a monster that resembled a giant dog. However it was friendly and Jack wanted to keep it.

By the time Jack and Dirk got to Home Depot a swarm of zombies were covering the place. However Jack was able to borrow a machine from Quint that could scream and lure the zombies away. When the timer ended the machine started to Scream and the zombies ran toward it. That gave Dirk and Jack just enough time to get inside the store. Inside Dirk found a ping pong table and told Jack. Since Quint’s birthday was coming soon they decided to take it back to the tree house. All of a sudden a giant mutant zombie poked its eyes through a window. I’ll continue it when I write tomorrow.

Walk to Lincoln park with New Phone

Yesterday I went to Lincoln park and decided that I would finally do a little bit of exercise. Last year on August I did the exact same thing even though right now it’s July. Anyway, I downloaded this app on my phone called, “Runtastic” and I think that it is very helpful in situations like this. The app tells you how many miles you’ve ran, how many calories you’ve burned while walking or running, and also the time it took you to run or walk that mile. Since I actually wanted to see progress I decided to run instead of walk because running seems to burn more calories and lessen the time taken. I wonder just how the app can tell you how many calories you’ve ran, it’s just so mind-blowing that technology has gone this far. It’s just something that’s caught my attention. When I came back home I showed my father the app and he seemed interested.

Something else happened yesterday while I was walking back home but IA don’t know the full story. Apparently, some woman was being surrounded by two asian ladies that were yelling to call the police. The lady was getting pretty pissed off (sorry for the language but it’s probably the best word to use) because they were yelling in her ear. The woman was telling them that she had the police on her phone but they must not have known English that well because they continued to yell eventually. The woman started getting really “mad” and hit the both of them as a sign to back off but the two asian woman prevailed. I’m assuming that maybe they ran a Chinese restaurant and the woman stole something, or maybe the woman didn’t do anything at all. Let me know what you think about this.

I was on Google News and stumbled upon this one story about mosquitos and how a specific breed can give you the “West Nile Virus”. I don’t know why they called it the “West Nile Virus” but it sounds pretty scary and cool at the same time also kind of Egyptian. Anyway, it can cause mild headaches and rashes just like any other mosquito. I honestly haven’t done enough research to what makes it special or more dangerous compared to regular mosquito bites but it seems to have start spreading in Texas and made its way to South Dakota as of today. The main reason I wrote about this is because I hate mosquitos since their just so annoying and disgusting, but I don’t want to kill them since their creatures so I try to just shoo them off.

heavy raining day diary

Unfortunately yesterday was raining the whole day so I didn’t really go outside. Instead, I just played on my Playstation Four and then finished my homework. Afterwards, my father suddenly had the urge to teach us the Tibetan Language, apparently all of his friends have been saying how its a shame that my sister and I don’t know Tibetan. If I were my father, I would tell them these are my children and they can’t tell me how to raise them. I honestly don’t care about learning the Tibetan language. It’s already somewhat difficult learning English. Plus, we were born in America! Not like most children that were born in Tibet or India and then taken to America. already learning the language. If I’m going to live in America I’d rather learn it’s common language rather than where I am from (somewhere on the other side of the world).

It’s just that, overtime I go to a Tibetan only party, wedding, monastery, etc, they always criticize me. Like, mind your own business! Anyway, Just today my dad was talking about his life before he had me and my sister with my mom. He was talking about when he first came to America. According to him he had no one to help him and he was by himself. He planned on dropping his stuff at the United Stations Building and then heading towards Queens to find a job. Thankfully, he met a man who apparently used to be his friend in India and the man invited my father to join him and his friends. My dad happily accepted the offer and slept in a one room apartment with his buddies. I could tell he enjoyed his time there due to some old photos but eventually moved out because he found a job and the room smelled awful.

He started off working at a popular wig store in New York and then made his way to Whole Foods. In both jobs he seemed to be trustworthy and hardworking so he was appointed manager. That’s when, he met my mother one day in Whole Foods. She was trying to get some groceries and lived in New Jersey near where I am now. I’m happy to see that after a few days they started to get to know each other and dated. My mom soon got pregnant and my dad stayed with her ready for a new child. That child was me! When I was in Pre-K my father and I were walking to our house and had to cross the street. It was Winter time and very slippery, so I slipped to the middle of the street and got hit by a truck. This really scared my dad and I awn sorry for him.

Go out with mother buy new uniform for school

My mother came back home yesterday so our family decided to go outside, but not before resting a little bit. We needed to go to the uniform store to get clothes for me and my sister. I got a sweater with my name on it because I would need it for Winter time and they had the perfect size. Also, I haven’t worn a sweater in like a month. Anyway, my father patiently waited while my mother was constantly trying to get the right sizes and buying just way too many clothes. I felt bad for the family behind us because they had to wait like 20 minutes before getting a turn, and it wasn’t even from the person who was helping my mom. It was another worker who noticed she was waiting and decided to help. And it was also a coincidence that her daughter was in Beloved just like me, except probably in 6th grade.

After the uniform store my mom and dad wanted to get groceries and supplies at BJ’s. Now I have nothing wrong with this store since it’s really popular and I’ve gone there a few times but why do you need a membership card in order to buy stuff from the store? Won’t that like hurt profits because people have to waste their time to get a card that lets them buy stuff from your store? Why wouldn’t they just go to their local supermarket and buy food from their instead? The only reason people who waste good time and energy to get this membership card is if the store sells cheap goods, or in other words, the food costs less than in their local supermarket. But it doesn’t! Because I doubt that a regular sized pound of beef costs 31 dollars anywhere else!

Finally, we went home and I helped my father put all the groceries in and out of the car. In total is costed $221 which was actually pretty low, I was almost sure it would be around $350 but I guess my parents got lucky. There was a TV around 40 to 60 inches that was only $600 to $700 but my dad didn’t bring his wallet with him, and I guess he didn’t want my mom to have to pay for it. At home my dad was really nice and let me use my Playstation until I had to go to sleep. But I did take a break at around 9:00 P.M and just read my book, though to my father I’m still not “resting” my brain. Anyway, that was the sum of yesterday with the whole family together. We had a great time and I hope you did too!

VIP with breakfast

For today’s writing I want to talk about what I did yesterday and I know that I usually always talk about the day before but this time it was super fun. After everyone finished eating at the V.I.P Diner we headed back home to drop the food and other stuff. I didn’t want to go with my mom and dad to Ikea’s since they may take too long and I’d miss the birthday party. Thankfully, my father noticed my situation and let me stay home to finish my homework. He said that he’d come as fast as he could to drop me off at the birthday so I agreed. While he, my sister, and mom were outside I tried finishing my homework as fast as possible so I could get a chance to use my Playstation Four. My friend called me since his mom wanted to know if my dad could also drop him to the birthday party. I asked her to give me a second so I could call my dad and he replied with a yes.

By 1:45 P.M my friend had already arrived at my house and my dad has just reached the house. I made sure to lock the door before entering the car. While in the car my mom greeted my friend and my sister was acting as obnoxious as she always is. My dad said hi and started driving towards the location. Once we reached the blue playground (our destination), my mom told me to be careful and I promised her I would. The two of us entered the playground and started searching for Lhawrencelie (birthday boy) until we saw another one of the kids that was attending the party. Lhawrencelie wasn’t at his own party because he needs to go back home and get all the food ready. I patiently waited while drinking Soda and talking to the other boys.

Finally, Lhawrencelie arrived on the scene and we all celebrated his birthday party. His mom pulled out the cakes and we had a piece. I for one honestly did not like the cake since it was mango but his mom knew that and brought hot dogs so that’s what I had instead. Once the party was halfway over I said goodbye because it was already 8:00 P.M, but then my friend’s mom (the one that asked me to drop her son) said that she would drop me to my house after spending an hour or so at an expensive club, since my dad told me not to rush home I agreed and we had a good time. I thanked his parents before leaving the Uber that they dropped me in and walked home.

Darkest minds 17 chapter

In chapter 17 of the Darkest Minds, Liam and Ruby are heading inside an abandoned house when Ruby finds a letter that was scattered on the floor. It was written by the previous member of their little group. Liam, Zu, Chubs used to have another member before Ruby but he never made it out of Caledonia alive. His name was Jack and was apparently the person who was most capable of using their powers. Jack was a blue and because of this he had the ability of telekinesis or to move objects with his mind. He knew how to use his power and playing pranks on the kids or other prisoners while in Caledonia. When Liam and Chubs were making their escape plan, they told Jack and Zu to run for the entrance. The doors of the facility were open because Liam and Chubs were trying their best to open it. However, as the kids got nearer to the entrance the door closed and the PSF’s or “officers”, shot all the kids trying to escape.

Most kids were surrendering but got shot anyway. Liam and Chubs were trying their best to open the door and finally, after their 3rd attempt it opened, but at this point Zu and a few other kids were the only ones still at the door waiting for it to open. Jack was the first kid the guards shot since they knew he had a good sense of his abilities. Anyways, Ruby only got a few words out of the letter when Liam snatched it out of her hand yelling “We don’t read each other’s letters!”. That’s when Ruby realized how personal this situation was to Liam. Ruby said sorry and kept on walking. Then, in chapter 18 Lady Jane arrived at the scene unexpectedly with a couple bodyguards. It seems as though Zu and Chubs were able to take care of her company but Lady Jane got the upper hand on them.

Now it was her vs Ruby and Liam. Ruby knew what she had to do, she grabbed Lady Jane’s throat and used her mind control powers to make her leave the area and walk into the woods for an hour before turning back to normal. That is the end of chapter 18 and the start of chapter 19! After Ruby pulled of this stunt she turned unconscious but Liam and Chubs were able to get her into the “Betty” (or their van). When Ruby woke up she noticed they were talking about leaving something behind and she was immediately afraid they were going to desert her. However, in reality they were talking about the Betty and whether or not it should be destroyed. Now Lady Jane knows about the trucks and the other PSF officers do to so it would be trouble for them! The End

Finished Third book Kane Chronicles Trilogy

I just finished reading the third and final book of the “Kane Chronicles” trilogy. In my opinion, the whole story was just really well made and the way every event transitioned from chapter to chapter wasn’t bad at all. My only problem was that they left the ending for the short story and Greek Gods weren’t put in more detail. Let me explain, you see, after defeating Apophis everyone starts celebrating and Carter becomes the ruler of Egypt and it’s Gods. Alongside “Horus”, who is the God he’s followed. Ra and the rest of the gods disappear back into the heavens but Carter and Sadie have enough time to say hi to their parents and see what they have to say. Most of the other (not so popular gods), who helped the two fight Apophis in the final battle either returned to their temples, went to Osiris seeking the path to Heaven, or stayed in the House of Rest full of energy.

After Carter and Sadie find about all of this they say goodbye to some of the other gods that helped them fight (Like Bes, Bast, and Tawaret) on the journey and meet with their crush’s. Carter decided to take Zia out the food court at the mall and they had a little talk before she kissed him. Sadie and Walt/Anubis (now part of the same person) decide to dance on the top of the Brooklyn House as a celebration for meeting up once again. Unfortunately, this is how the book ends and they don’t tell us anything about Setne, besides the fact that Carter saw him disappear right after the fight. That’s when they give a “short story” about what are Setne’s intentions and how both Carter and Sadie use their powers to stop them. But they can’t do it alone, instead they meet up with two other kids from a different mythology, the Greeks.

Combining the power of both Egyptian and Greek powers they easily defeat Setne, and then they just say goodbye and leave… In my opinion, if would have been a much better book if Rick Riordan combined both mythologies into one so that they realize they aren’t the only ones. And I bet you that in the time Carter and Sadie are living, there are also Chinese and Mayan gods that exist at a certain place in the world. Maybe for the author’s final book he can incorporate every different mythology from the Egyptians, to the Romans, and even the Japenese. And together they’ll have to fight an even more powerful threat. One stronger than the all mighty god “Apophis”. In fact, I wonder what would’ve have happened if Carter and Sadie had failed. Would the other gods of different myths be oblivious? Would they attack and hopefully save the world? Or would the gods not be affected by the evil force since it’s Egyptian?

Book reading note: chapter 27--29

Chapter 27: Ruby, Chubs, and Liam were surrounded by Clancy and some of the camp patrollers that surveyed the area. They knew that Ruby would try to escape so they blocked every exit. Clancy was attempting to mind control Ruby and Liam was the first person to notice. He tried to punch Clancy in the face but one of the camp patrollers pinned him down and constantly slapped him. Chubs’s mind was hard stone and he knew that no one would be able to get inside his head so he let off the biggest most “curse worthy” speech ever to Clancy. Chubs would cut Clancy off every time the guy tried to speak and in the end was also pinned down by another camp patrollers. Liam was no unconscious and beat. Some of Liam’s friends who were also camp patrollers didn’t know what to do and were being brainwashed by Clancy so they couldn’t help.

Chapter 28: Clancy left the area but blocked the exit with camp patrollers so they couldn’t escape. Ruby and Chubs took Liam back into the cabin where he was being healed by Chubs and Liam’s friend Lizzie (who knew that Clancy was evil). Liam expressed his love for Ruby by telling her everything that was in his mind. He assured her that if she looked inside his mind she’d see that he was telling the truth. Ruby trusted him and didn’t bother to look inside. That’s when Lizzie came and said that Clancy was bleeding in his office. Liam and Chubs urged Ruby not to go knowing that the this was probably some trick (Clancy most likely brainwashed Lizzie). Ruby promised them that she would be safe and wouldn’t let the guy hurt her. She hurried off with Lizzie to Clancy’s office and saw him lying on the floor (doing a good job of acting hurt).

Chapter 29: No matter what Ruby said about not letting Clancy control her he did, somehow. He was dragging Ruby up by her shirt when suddenly Chubs came and knocked Clancy onto the book shelves. Then, he took Ruby and they left his office. Apparently, Clancy seemed to have called PSF’s into the area and a lot of kids were taken back to camps. Chubs did a good job of hiding Ruby and they hid until the next morning. Clancy must’ve have been taken by the PSF’s and most of the other kids too since they disappeared. Suddenly, Ruby was instinctively worried for Liam. She and Chubs couldn’t find him at first but later saw him on the steps of a cabin. Chubs headed to Clancy’s computer and noticed that there was still 15% battery left. Chubs was able to send Jack’s letter to his parents through messages until there was only 2% left. Chubs didn’t want to call his parents and let Ruby try and find her grandmother. Unfortunately, when

Diary note

I just finished reading the first book of the trilogy “Kane Chronicles”. The first book is called, “The Red Pyramid”, and I liked all of it. When I first got all three of the books from Barnes and Nobles the only reason I got them were because they were made by “Rick Riordan” and his specialty is mythology. Something I found out was that on the front cover there was a caption that read “Bonus short story: Son of Sobek”, and I knew I couldn’t start the second book “Kane Chronicles: Throne of Fire” unless this was completed. So I finished the story in about 15 minutes and let me say it was very frustrating. Now this does not mean it wasn’t good because I thought that incorporating Percy Jackson (a character from Rick Riordan’s first book series) was a really smart decision.

One of the main characters in this book “Carter” was on the search for a monster that was seemingly reported as the “Loch Ness Monster” (in the news). After reaching the destination of the beast’s hideout he slowly waded around a large pool of water and was suddenly eaten by a ferocious crocodile 10 times larger than him. This was very scary and Carter was about to punch his way out of the crocodile using the power of “Horus” (Egyptian God), when the crocodile suddenly regurgitated him out of it’s belly and ran away. When Carter wiped the goo off his face and got back on his feet he noticed the giant figure disappeared and in it’s place was a boy a foot taller than. It was “Percy Jackson”! Percy explained that the humongous crocodile ran away after he thrust his sword straight at it’s behind (Percy did this).

This is the frustrating part, they both realized they each had different powers from different gods but chose not to understand that there were more than just the other mythology! Percy Jackson thought that Carter’s sword looked weird since it was curved (Percy was a demigod from Greek Mythology and no one used “curved swords”. However, Carter kept on thinking that Percy was a magician or at least a host for a god that he didn’t recognize (from Egyptian Mythology). They both never realized that they were just two different people trying to fight two different battles. Thankfully, in the next book Carter’s sister “Sadie” and Percy girlfriend “Annebeth” were able to figure it out by themselves so it’s all good.

One day with Dad New York central Park

I usually hate going outside but yesterday wasn’t bad at all. I got a couple of good photos of the animals in the Central Park Zoo and also ate food at the park nearby. But let me give you an in depth summary of everything I did (in detail). After waking up my dad said that he wanted to take us to the Central Park Zoo since yesterday it was raining. We originally had plans before but they were canceled since it was closed. It opens at 10:00 A.M everyday and then closes eventually. For breakfast we decided to eat cereal so that we didn’t pay money for food later. At Journal Square I had to go underneath the machine that lets you use the train since my dad didn’t want to use two trips on his card. I’m already 13 and yet I still have to do it, thankfully my mother lets me use her card so I have nothing to worry about when going with her.

I’m just always scared that the employees will see me not using a card and then we’ll get in trouble. In addition, there are always people who look at me when I go under and think that I’m crazy but don’t say anything. They just “stare” at me for a few seconds and then go about their day. Because my dad ran out of train rides in his card he either had to refill it or get a new one, and because of that we missed the train. However, I’m kind of happy we did because there were just too many people inside (I wanted to have a place to sit). After what seemed like an hour we reached 33rd street and walked all the way to Central Park. My dad never likes to use taxis because he thinks they waste money and I’m afraid that he’ll argue with the taxi driver about a right price if he does. It’s been 5 years since he’s ever been in one.

Yet my mom goes in a taxi basically everyday she’s traveling around New York and Jersey City. She knows how to debate a price and even has multiple taxi driver’s numbers who she considers some of her best friends. Especially this guy named, “Ali” that is always understanding and speaks Indian too. Let me just get to the good part. We walked over to the mall and then bought food at Whole Foods since my dad wanted to meet up with some old friends who I’m pretty sure moved to a different store for higher pay, whereas my father couldn’t since he needed to be able to pick us up from school and it was just a bit too far. At the Zoo we went to the kids one first and then headed to the the main zoo. I saw all different types of animals but was bummed since I didn’t see the Snow Leopard which originated in the mountains of Tibet. That was all I did yesterday.

Diary. reading note

I think I read enough chapters of the book “Kane Chronicles” to continue summarizing it. Last time I left off at the part where Sadie and Carter’s dad went missing ever since he caused the explosion at the museum. When Carter was getting up he saw vaguely saw two people looking straight down on him. They said they were planning on killing him and his sister when the police officers arrived at the scene. The two kids remembered seeing their father summon a red human like figure from the Rosetta Stone and that figure telling their father that he also released the other five. They were confused but didn’t have time to process anything since the police were taking them in for investigation. Carter and Sadie told the investigators that they’re father had been trapped inside a coffin and it sank down into the ground but the officers wouldn’t believe them (obviously).

Sadie was starting to get really pissed and got especially mad when the police investigator asked her how she felt about her brother. Sadie knew she was implying that she was adopted since their father and Carter looked the same (they were black and she was white), but Sadie yelled at her saying Carter was her real biological brother, not in law. Eventually, they were brought into the living room with Sadie’s grandparents. Out of nowhere the officer told them that Sadie and Carter were going to be deported back to America since that was where they were both originally from. Sadie was outraged and then suddenly the police officer walked away. Then, came in Amos (a man who Carter caught arguing with their father about something).

At first Sadie thought that Amos would be very bad for Carter and her but as they started conversing she realized that he was actually there to help them and stop their father from doing what he did. That’s the reason they were arguing back there. Amos said that he was able to use his powers to make the Police Officer say they were deported. He stated, that they could’ve have been put in prison but because of him they weren’t. The reason he made it so they were deported is so that they two children would come with him to his mansion and learn to control their magical abilities. I now realize how this is different from the previous book since the amulets aren’t very important. They are only useful to contain the magic. The actual user is the one that can make spells without the amulet. That is it for today’s post.

Diary. one day stay home with Dad

Although yesterday wasn’t very interesting I am going to try to make it seem as long and fun as possible. So, waking up I slowly walked towards the bathroom while looking into my dad’s room to see if he was there. The only reason I went to the mirror was to look at how my hair turned out after sleeping, and it’s a pretty good excuse for getting out of bed. Eventually, I just sat on my bed and watched a bit of Youtube (catching up on the latest trends) before heading downstairs to get clean for the day. My sister was just being super annoying and asking what the time was, so when I told her she wanted to actually see my phone (as proof) but I wouldn’t let her anywhere near it. I don’t know how dirty her hands are.

My asked each of us what we wanted for breakfast and my sister, like always wanted to go outside again! Like just let the old man not waste his money, I bet my father wouldn’t have any problem making egg and bread. In the end, we decided to go to Wonder Bagel, well I mean “she” wanted to go to Wonder Bagel. I would have been fine eating at McDonalds or anywhere else. Since they only thing they serve are, you guessed it, “Bagels”. I had a toasted tuna filled bagel and so did my dad, my sister got a regular cream cheese bagel like the last time we ate here. After about 10 minutes they gave us plates and handed our food. At first I could tell they put way too much tuna, but my dad had no problem.

It gave me a sort of happy feeling knowing that all three of us were enjoying our food and spending quality time together since I usual am the one to just leave and play video games. After taking a few pictures for dad to post on Facebook and WeChat I threw our food away and walked with the two of them back to the car. My dad wanted to go to a festival but I immediately refused since he gave us the option to do so. Back at home, I started reading, “The Kane Chronicles”. It’s a really good book about Egyptian mythology and how two children are on a journey to save the world (just like every other adventure story related to mythology). Sorry Rick Riordan.

Spent little time with myb Aunt

I usually don’t spend time with my aunt because she’s always outside either hanging out with her Tibetan friends, at work for a couple of days, or I’m playing my game. But since today was her off day and my game was supposedly thrown out I get to spend some time with her at Newport Mall. That’s right, my mom wanted my aunt get my sister a dress from this store called, “Crazy 8’s” (which I though was a total waste of money), so she took that as an excuse to go t the mall with her. We first watched two different movies, and when I say that I mean my sister and her watched a Hindi movie while I got to see “The Meg”. In my opinion this movie was amazing and I loved the funny nature of it. Some folks may think I’m crazy since it’s a movie about a prehistoric shark killing humans but there were a couple of scenes that I counted as humorous.

And just to let you know, there were no people in my theater besides me! Like how crazy is that? I figured that with this movie just recently coming out and the fact that it’s summer break at least a couple of people would buy tickets but no, I was the only one… The part that creeped me out was how gigantic the theater is and how it’s meant to fit at least 50 people but instead there’s only 1. In addition, some of the trailers at the beginning of the movie were for horror movies so I ran outside the door until it was finished. After this “great” movie was done I walked over to theater 2 (my aunt and sister) and it turns out their movie just started. My aunt gave me some more money to buy food but I kindly declined her offer telling her not to waste as much cash as needed. However, she insisted on me getting at least a hot dog so I reluctantly walked out of the theater and got the food.

Eventually, the movie got boring so I told her I’d go to the apple store to look at their new wireless earphones and then sit in the food court until they were finished. She had no problem letting me go so I started heading to the store. At first I couldn’t spot the new “Air-pods” but then noticed them hiding in the back of the gadget’s section. They looked just like the ones my mother had except were a bit smaller in size. After browsing some of the phone cases I ran back upstairs to the food court and went on my phone waiting for the two of them. At this point of my day at Newport mall I thought that things were going really well and appreciated my aunt for getting us tickets to these awesome movies. Finally, my aunt decided that she wasn’t going to get my sister her dress because she thought there was no point, and instead not me some soccer shoes because she knows I don’t have any and likes soccer herself. She wants me to get a scholarship in sports or at least play them because that makes me going to a college a whole lot cheaper.

The shoes she got me were actually cleats and were exactly 80 dollars. I hate the fact that when shoes sizes get bigger you need to pay more because what if someone has super big feet like me? They’d have to pay more than one of their friends that has a smaller size. It’s just seems pretty stupid, but of course I can understand because the bigger the shoe the more work that has to go into making them but that’s like a 5 dollar increase for even size until the 9’s. And I got a 10 1/2 because I want my cleats to be flexible and fit me as long as possible. That was my whole day, when I got home my father saw the cleats and didn’t seem to have a problem with them. That’s it for today’s post, hope you enjoy!

Watched movie " the darkest minds

Today I want to talk about the book, “The Darkest Minds”, or more so the movie. I watched it yesterday, a day after it came out and I was surprised that the seats weren’t full by the time I got there. Did no one want to watch the movie? Because I certainly did! Anyway, I’m going to give the book a 8/10 rating because I just really hate the ending. Now I know the book has the same ending but it just felt so unsatisfying and mean to the audience. I hated the fact that Ruby decided to erase Liam’s memories of her because she knew that he wouldn’t leave without her. I just feels so wrong! Why did she have to do that! Now it feels like the whole point of the movie just went to waste. It’s like they never knew each other in the first place, and all the events that took place after meant nothing. I know that Zu and Chubs will probably get really confused and tell Liam he’s crazy but eventually they’ll realize that Ruby erased his memories.

Wait a minute, Ruby never told Chubs or Zu about her ability to erase memories. Just the fact that she could mind control other people to do what she wanted them to do. So that’s means that they’ll always be confused until they somehow happen to run into Ruby again, which I completely doubt because Ruby was no forced to work with the Children’s League in exchange for Liam to be safe and leave. I’m one hundred percent going to read the second book of the series just to see how this goes since I already know that both Zu and Chubs will be in it. Now, some things that I didn’t exactly like but can understand about the movie was that it skipped so many events and scenes. Everything just happened so fast and I didn’t typically enjoy looking at the actor they picked to play Ruby as a child. No offense, but she didn’t look the best.

Now let me talk about what else I did besides watch the movie. After it was done I asked my mom if she could drop me off at Journal Square with one of her taxi friends. While I was waiting for the taxi I tried going to eat McDonalds but when I used my Big Mac coin they didn’t accept. There was a sign that said that there were no more Big Mac Coins but I assumed that meant they had no more to give I didn’t know it meant you couldn’t use it. So I felt kind of stupid when leaving the place with no food. The taxi driver picked me up and dropped me off at the train station. I have him 10 dollars and a 2 dollar tip since that’s what my mom told me to do and then said bye. In all I thought it was a pretty good day, I got to watch the movie I wanted and get fresh air.

Book summery: The red Pyramid

I am going to mention in this essay what I did yesterday in New York and also about a new book called, “The Red Pyramid”. So you can forget about, “How to Live Without Fear or Worry”. My father decided that he wanted to go to New York in order to eat breakfast and I didn’t really have a problem. However, while in Journal Square we passed by Mc’Donalds and I just couldn’t resist the urge to drink a vanilla milkshake. Thankfully, he didn’t have a problem and we ate our breakfast there, instead of a Chinese restaurant in Queens. While eating our food I asked my dad if we could go to Barnes and Nobles because I wanted to buy some books (didn’t want to read “How to Live Without Fear or Worry”.

It took us a while but eventually we had already reached World Trade Center. My sister recognized that we both had low battery on our phones and my dad recommended that we go to the Apple Store. I had no problem with that and agreed to go along, while waiting or our phones to charge one of the people working there recognized by dad and his name was “Anthony”. He seemed to be on of the workers that helped my dad when they were doing some type of “sketching” hour. Lately, my dad has been hanging out in this store “sketching” right after his job and I can see why. Anthony and his friend (another worker) seemed to be very kind people, extremely positive. I genuinely enjoyed my time there.

Later on, we finally reached Barnes and Nobles but passed by the 911 Memorial. At first I didn’t understand why we went this way since it was 2 times as long, but then knew it was because if we went the regular way my father would have to pass by his work. Apparently, he told his workers that he went to vacation outside of the country. In my opinion that is a very clever idea but I’d probably too much of a scaredy-cat to try it. At Barnes and Nobles I immediately went the Manga section because the two new volumes of My Hero Academia were available in the store. I have the 11th one somewhere in my house but the 12th and 13th ones just weren’t available for me. Now I can spoil everything that happens to my friends since I have the book and that is ahead of the actual anime.

That’s basically what I did yesterday, besides that my father tried to find a place to eat besides Whole Foods since he couldn’t go there and McDonalds just wasn’t good enough. However, I knew the real reason why was because he just wanted to spend more family time and walk around to eat fresh air and exercise. Then, we went home and I played my video games until going to sleep. Now, “Kane Chronicles: The Red Pyramid” was another series that I bought at Barnes in Nobles and the reason it intrigued me was because the author was “Rick Riordian”, a person whose books I’ve read like “Trials of Apollo” and “Magnus Chase”. I just mythology about gods since it’s so interesting and the stories always have lots of action. After finishing it I’ll summarize the book.

Book summery: The Zombie Chasers

Now for the past there days I’ve been reading this book called, “The Zombie Chasers”, and am finally going to talk about it. The reason I haven’t mentioned it before is because I watched the new movie “Crazy Rich Asians”, I didn’t finish talking about the Four Fallen in “Spirit Animals”, and I going outside a lot. But since the only thing I did yesterday was go outside to the park I’m going to write about this book instead. So there is a group of kids whose parents and 99% of the population have been turned into zombies because they’ve eaten a type of hamburger called the “Burgerdog” that when eaten will turn you into a zombie. The man who created these hamburgers just wanted to make the most delicious burger, but in his process infected most of the world.

Now these kids have the antidote and are trying to find their parents one by one. The book that I’m reading is the second one in the serious so I don’t know what their full backstory is. Anyways, what I can gather is that they were taken to the White House and the president was asking them if they could bring the antidote to them, that way they can make more of it. They also stole a helicopter from the White House and flew to the other side of America trying to find Zack’s (main character) parents first since he knows where they are.  However, the helicopter did indeed blow up and they couldn’t fix it. The president put a device on one of the kids in the group so that he would know where exactly they were but Madison (the girl), accidentally got it bitten off her by a zombie so now the president won’t know where to contact them.

At the part of the book where I am Zack and the rest of the kids are finally in a laboratory with the man who created the burgerdog. He is really sorry and was very happy knowing that they have the antidote, although not very much. “Duplesiss” was the name of the man and he told them to wait while he tried duplicating the serum. While anxiously waiting he told the kids to try and brainstorm something that zombies liked besides brains and flesh. Eventually they came up with popcorn since it looks just like a brain and all Duplesiss needed was a sample from a real brain. That way he could combine them both to create a different serum. Even though the duplication of the original worked great. They tested the vial on one of there friends who was bitten by a  zombie and turned into one and it turned out to be a success.

Few thoughts about after finishing read Golden Compass

Few thoughts about Golden Compass:

08/1/18

I’ve decided that for today’s post I am going to be giving my full rating of the book “The Golden Compass” since I already finished the summary per chapter, and then talk a little bit about this book called, “How to Live Without Fear and Worry”. Now, to be honest, I think that the Golden Compass was a great choice by my school to be used as the summer reading book. Although, I kind of wished that they could’ve used this as a class text instead. Usually, the books that my teacher makes us kids read for our quizzes don’t have any “action” or drama involved, but the Golden Compass fits both of those areas and has so much more to offer. I would give it a 4.5 in total.

The only reason I won’t give it a 5/5 is because it seems to be like it hasn’t won any medals so either the book community hasn’t recognized this book yet or it just doesn’t seem to hit the spot. Unless, the giant compass on the side of the cover is actually a secret medal… Anyways, the way the chapters are set up make you want to read more. Especially, since it always on some sort of cliffhanger. In addition, the plot gives you tons of information that will make you intrigued to know how the characters in the story react. And finally, all of the action that takes place in the story, there are lots of conflicts that happen throughout the book that give it a sort of meaning.

The author, “Phillip Pullman” has already completed the sequels in 2000. And this book was published in 1997, so that means he wrote 2 more books in 3 years? I don’t know whether or not that’s fast or just normal. Because one of my books is going to take a year and a half until published and released for me to read. The name of that book is “Trials of Apollo”, I told myself I’d forget it and I almost did. The other two books that complete the trilogy are “The Subtle Knife” and “The Amber Spyglass”. I was able to read a bit of the Subtle Knife since it has a preview at the end of the Golden Compass and it seems like Lyra is going to have a much bigger problem in her hands.

Now it’s time to talk a bit about “How to Live Without Fear or Worry”. It’s a book written by a person named, “K. Sri Dhammanahda” and I think that this guy is definitely getting really deep into this topic. To be completely honest, at first I wasn’t interested at all and even was about to sleep, but then he started talking about the Buddha’s life and the 8 fold path, that’s when I got interested. I’m not sure whether or not this is related to Nirvana because he said something that sounded similar and I think it was a typo. I haven’t gotten far yet, completed 2 and a half chapters. If I have nothing to say I’ll talk about this next time.

Diary: watched a cool moive. Crazy rich Asians

Yesterday I watched a really good movie called, “Crazy Rich Asians””. I just felt that since I’m Asian and Buddhists are typically seen as the most “Asian” when it comes to that term it felt like my duty to watch this movie. Besides, the first trailer was super funny. My mom called an Uber for me to pick me up from my house and take me to Newport Mall. There, we ate a bit of food and relaxed before my movie started. Unfortunately, my mom and sister couldn’t watch it because there was only one seat and the two of them wanted to watch it together, so they let me take that last spot instead. Instead, they watched an Indian movie, which my sister didn’t mind. Anyway, “Crazy Rich Asians”, is about a woman named “Racheal Chu” who is born in America (New York) and meets a man named, “Nick Young” who she thought was in the same financial state as him.

However, as the movie progresses Nick asks Racheal if she will let him take her to Singapore where they can meet Nick’s parents. Racheal had no problem but while they were talking a woman took a picture of them who was actually spying on him as a request from Nick’s mother. She sent the picture to all of her friends and the family so that they would know who Nick was dating. The reason Nick wanted to take Racheal to Singapore was because he wanted her to meet his parents but also because he would be the best man for Collin, his brother’s wedding. It was when they got into first class at the American Express airlines that Racheal realized just how rich he and his family really were.  Of course she didn’t mind and for the next few days they had a great time meeting up with Collin and his wife who Racheal quickly became friends with.

Eventually, Racheal was invited to Nick’s parents mansion and met most of his family. She even mistook the cook as his grandmother. Thankfully, he met the real grandmother at the end of the party at his family’s mansion. Nick’s mother didn’t like Racheal because she was a foreigner and apparently kept Nick away from coming to Singapore last year as well as influencing him with American traditions. Nick told Rachael that he chose to stay in America because of her so it wasn’t her doing and it’s not his fault he’s been getting used to an American accent. In the end of the movie Racheal is able to stand up to his mother by turning down Nick’s marriage proposal and reminding his mother that if she had said yes she would have taken Nick away from his family but because she said no he will forever resent his own mother. That’s when the mom decided to tell Nick Young to propose a second time but with her consent and Racheal knew that she had come to her senses so she said yes. Together, Racheal and Nick’s mom both just wanted him to be happy and in the end both got what they wanted.

Spirit animal summery 1

Today I read another two chapters of the book, “Spirit Animals: Tales of the Fallen Beasts”. So far we’ve covered Halawar who is one of the three Great Beasts that tried to take over the world. He worked with “Gerathon the Serpent” and “Kovo the Ape”. Together, they were confronted by four of the other Great Beasts, “Uraza, Jhi, Briggan, Essix”. Now, these 7 beasts and the rest are all popping up around the world and are being turned into spirit animals. When I say spirit animals, I mean that now they are going to have a bond with the human that summons them. In this book, it recalls the tales of all the animals and there human partners. How they first meet and the backstories of the humans. The story of what happens further on is left to the actual series that the author created.

Now I want to talk about the next three beasts in this book, “Rumfuss”, is the name of the once Great Beast that was summoned and written about in the second chapter. However, the author decides to take a different approach and talk about the brother of the human who summoned Rumfuss. The kid is Devin and he was outcasted by his father for his side of the previous war did not win and because of this his father suffered lot’s of financial problems. The man increased the tax by a whole lot just so that he could keep his royal life in check. However, now the citizens are pissed and with Devin’s call they rebel against the selfish man. Devin is able to rescue his brother from Zerif (who is sided with Devin’s father), but was not able to retrieve his brother’s spirit animal.

Before running away Devin tells his brother that they will find his spirit animal one way or another. Now onto the next chapter: Arax and Suka. There is a girl named, “Anuqi” who is part of the Ardu people. They live on the snow terrains of Eras and were very happy when Anuqi summoned, “Suka”. However, Anuqi’s mother was very greedy since they had very little money and his father couldn’t stop her. So when Zerif came to their house and offered to give a large bag of coins in exchange for Suka his mother said yes. And although, his father tried his best to fight off Zerif with two of his own friends it just didn’t work out. So Raisha (Zerif’s servant), smacked Suka the Polar Bear with a bottle of the parasite and it slithered inside the bear’s skin. This gave Zerif complete control over it and with another Great Beast at their side Zerif left alongside Raisha.

After a week or so Anuqi couldn’t wait anymore. She saw Raisha hit Suka with the parasite but her parents didn’t believe her. They thought that Suka left on her own accord. So late at night Anuqi ran away and met with two people who promised they would do whatever it took to save Suka from Zerif and Raisha. They two people weren’t that much older than herself but looked pretty strong. They were called, “Talon” and “Grif”. “Grif” was the person that summoned “Arax the Ram”, (One of the other great Beasts) and he would do whatever it took to get his spirit animal back. Anuqi felt like she could trust these two but remembered to keep her guard at all times.

Book summery Spirit Animal

I’ve read most of the books in the “Spirit Animal” series but I’ve never known the backstory of the four fallen. Or the humans that “co-exist” with their very own Great Beasts. At least in the first series. Obviously, in the second series every Great Beast has their own human partner but back then it was only Briggan, Essix, Jhi, and Uraza. And they lived and fought with Conor, Rollan, Meilin, and Abeke. In today’s post I am going to be talking about how each of these four came to have their very own spirit animal (especially Great Beasts) and how their life transitioned from there. Starting with Abeke, she used to live in a small village in Nilo with her sister and father. Abeke’s father always loved her sister but never Abeke, she was always seen as disrespectful and unordinary. The day of the nectar ceremony (where humans drink Ninana’s nectar to see if they get a spirit animal), Abeke brought an antelope as an offering to celebrate it.

She knew her chances were low of actually getting a spirit animal for herself but she still wanted to have some part in it. However, her father and the rest of his staff were surprised and horrified that she brought a dead animal’s body to a ceremony. They took it away and gave Abeke the clay pot she made a while back (which was apparently what they were supposed to hold while drinking the nectar). Abeke said that it looked ugly and didn’t with her outfit but decided not to argue. It was time for the ceremony and Abeke was the last person to walk up. When she drank the nectar it seemed to her like any other soup she drank for dinner and was skeptical that they gave her this instead of actual nectar. But, to her surprise a sudden flash of lightning came upon the ground and after a few seconds she noticed a creature behind her, it was Uraza the great beast!

Everyone in the village was shocked, and a woman took her to the side. It was a greencloak! Her name was Lenori and she was about to say something when a man behind her knocked Lenori out. Then, he said that his name was Zerif and he wanted to talk to Abeke and her father about the importance of this event. Inside his father’s hut Zerif was able to persuade her father that Abeke needed to join with Zerif and the rest of the Greencloaks to keep her protected. Her father bought this and told Abeke that this was for her own good. Abeke, had a hint of suspicion but decided that it must have been for the greater good. She she went along with Zerif and said goodbye, thinking that her father probably just didn’t want her to be a bad omen around the village. Everyone knows that Zerif is a bad person know but back then he was seen as anyone else. That is it for today’s post.

Book: Sero

Last night I did not have a very good sleep, the reason behind that is because I turned the air conditioner off way too early so I was sweating the whole night. I switched pillows like 3 times and was a bit annoyed by the sounds of the neighbors. So I wouldn’t be surprised if I fall asleep in the afternoon. Anyways, yesterday my dad took Monkyi and me to Staples so that we could go school supply shopping. While driving in the car I felt a little sick but entering the store made everything better. I immediately, grabbed a cart from pile next to the doors and headed straight for the notebooks since that would be the first item on the list. Last year I got some really bad 3 subject notebooks that weren’t really that good of a quality. Either that or the color just really bothered me (I hate Navy Blue even though its the school’s colors). Then the next thing on my list were folders but I got a bit distracted by some gaming chairs that were lying on the other side of the aisle.

Eventually, I was able to get back into the game because I saw my sister already halfway full with her basket. And let me tell you, I literally dominated my supply list. I was able to get everything in under 15 minutes and even lost my list towards the end. Thankfully, the only things that I needed from there were some donations to the school, and obviously why would I do that? I mean what has the school done for me besides give bad teachers and unfair school uniform policies. The only reason I’m even staying in this school is because of the friends that I’ve made and the fact that I’m not ready to leave them behind for a new life. And the fact that Beloved is supposedly going to become a high school just boggles my mind. They just finished building the middle school so that makes this 1.3 million project possible?

Basically, the NJ school department has decided to fund Beloved since it’s right now one of the leading schools in the state in terms of academics. This new high school looks really cool but I just don’t know where they could possibly fit it. There is one space that’s not being used but the way the outline of the high school looks makes it hard to believe they’ll have a gym, swimming pool, classrooms, and cafeteria all at once. But I’ve been babbling for a while and should go back to the school shopping. Once everyone finished getting our supplies we headed to the cashier and I heard a man complaining about the water prices, $1.59, that’s pretty big for just a simple water bottle but I wasn’t going to say anything. My sister was pretty surprised that all of her items only needed one bag while mine needed 3 but I wasn’t. I’m in middle school and we need everything we can get! Until Next time!

Book: summery> The Kane Chronicles

I know that I haven’t talked about “The Kane Chronicles” in a  while but just yesterday I finished “The Sliver Eyes: Five Nights at Freddy’s”, and this was the only book left lying around. Anyway, I’m going to start off from where I left off last time. Ever since Sadie, Carter, and Zia freed Setne from his apparent death by Osiris (their father), Carter and Zia have been stuck with him, he’s supposed to be helping them find the book of Thoth. Meanwhile, Walt and Sadie are traveling to “Sais”, the place where Bus left his shadow, so that they can retrieve it and free Bes’s soul. If Sadie and Carter can do that then Bes will once again become the dwarf god everyone loves and help them on their journey to defeat Apophis by tonight. Sadie and Walt have just arrived at Sais and met Neith who is supposed to tell them where the shadow is.

However, Neith isn’t willing to help unless they play a little game of hide and seek. Walt and Sadie need to hide in the jungle while Neith waits for 5 minutes. Once the countdown is over she has to try and find them for a certain amount of time. Walt and Sadie waste two minutes trying to find a way to evade the goddess’s tracking skills. Eventually, they come up with the perfect plan, using the amulets that Walt made, they can teleport to the other person if someone is getting chased. Say Walt is getting chased by Neith, he can teleport to Sadie using the amulet right before he gets caught. This plan works out for them because eventually, the duo is able to win, but not just by using the amulets. Sadie distracted Neith (wasting time), by telling the goddess all about a so called monster that is related to gummy worms. Neith is certainly intrigued and soon enough the timer runs out making Sadie and Walt the winners.

Meanwhile, Zia and Carter are having a rough time dealing with Setne’s tricks. Setne takes them to “Cario” where he last remembers putting the Book of Thoth. In case you don’t know, the Book of Thoth is the key to destroying Apophis. The book has all of the spells and enchantments needed to imprison Apophis. And in ancient times Setne stole the book from Thoth and tried using it to become immortal. Unfortunately for him, it didn’t work out, the ghost was put into trail and was supposed to be executed multiple times. But every time, he used his magic to escape. Either fighting his way out or complimenting the executioner so much that he left the magician go. However, now that the fate of the world is at stake Setne is forced to help them find the book, but will he cooperate?

Dairy

I just finished reading 47 pages of this book called, “Five Nights at Freddy’s: Silver Eyes”. Do you remember when I wrote about the second book of the trilogy? Well the one I’m reading right now is actual the first one, or the beginning. This is because while I was at Barnes and Nobles I saw it right next to the manga section where I got a couple of anime books. My dad saw that instead of just pictures it was a classic American text so he got it for me. I would have bought this book at my school book fair back in 7th grade but by the time I got there it was already sold out, only the second book was available. And the third one hadn’t come out at the time.

Anyways, this book gives the origins and explains how Charlie and her group of friends in “Utah, Hurricane”, get mixed up in this terrifying story of a boy who died in “Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria”. Charlie gets invited by the boy’s parents along with some of her other friends because they are giving him a funeral. The reason behind this is because all of these 10 years that have passed they’ve been hoping that Micheal (boy) came back one day, since his body was never found. Charlie visted her old house in Utah, Hurricane and gets a very scary vibe while looking at some old items her father made her as a child. Now, she and her friends are visiting the abandoned building that seemed to have been built over and are curious to see what secrets lie ahead.

Now I’ll talk about what’s been going around in my house lately. You may already know this but me and my sister’s bedtime have changed over the course of the year. At first it used to end at 8:30 P.M and then one day my dad forgot to tell us to go asleep so we stayed until 9:00 P.M. Afterwards, he started to get generous since it was the beginning of Summer Break and we slept until 9:30 P.M. At this point, I would sleep and then wake up at like 5:00 to 6:00 A.M. My dad noticed this and also wanted us to feel like we were really in a “vacation” (when we were actually just going outside during the day), so he bumped it up to 10:00 P.M. A few weeks later he forgot to tell us to go to sleep again and my sister and I stayed until 11:00 P.M. This was the longest we ever stayed up, at least while compensating to our dad’s rules. But just last week my father dropped it back to 10:00 P.m ever since he started working. I don’t exactly understand the reason behind this since we will still wake up at like 8:00 A.M but it’s best not to argue.

Also, I was finally able to see my mom a lot more often than I used to since she got a break just like my father but that was after he went back to work. So it’s kind of like they’re switching who takes care of us. But just yesterday she had to go back to work for another two weeks. And we only about about 3 more weeks left of Summer Break before school starts again. But honestly, I’m more excited about going back to school this year than any other year. This is because in 8th grade the school is creating a new building and by the time summer break ends it will already have been built, in fact I wouldn’t be surprised if it already was completed. The school said it would have a much larger gym but when I looked at the building one time while it was still in construction it didn’t look like it could fit a whole gym. Let me know what you think.

Dream shoes

This weekend was like an epic study moment session where I just spent all of my time just practicing for the ELA EOY, the Math EOY, and the...
